« A little disappointed »

The hotel was clean and functional. For a hotel though that had 4 stars the restaurant and bar were not open on a Saturday night which is very poor and the room air conditioning did not work.

Regular customer of this hotel, the bedroom was lacking of proper cleaning (pillow in a corner in the entrance, mould on bathtub sillicones, uncleaned toilet seat).

« No AC and worst, no effort to keep the room in the shade »

I have been staying at this hotel many times as it is conveniently located next to the office. This time, the level of service was extremely poor. No AC in the room and no fan. When I complained to the staff of the hotel, they said that the AC had been turned on the day before and it was taking some time to cool the entire hotel. The reality is that the maid had shut down the AC in the room and left the window and curtain open - so for sure, it was hot. There was no effort from the staff to compensate.

The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the shower worked. The fittings in the bathroom were well worn, water leaked from below the shower glass panel on to the floor; the upgrade to a room with a sitting room attached was welcome, but the room itself just had a sofa and a tv. Nothing else. Finally, when we asked Reception to call a taxi the charge for a 15 minute journey on a Saturday afternoon was 50 Euros. I would have thought that the hotel should protect its guests from this sort of ripoff by using trusted taxi drivers. Mercure, you can do better

Very pleasant, in a very cosy and welcoming place. I have really appreciated the internal layout and style. The wide breakfast choice was spoilt by the fact that the fruit wasn't really fresh. The dinner menu on its side was a little narrow.
