Very short overnight business stop, en route to a destination further south. Ideal location as very close to the motorway connections (A10) which I needed to take the next day. I unfortunately didn’t have a chance to use the pool or restaurant which looked appealing in the sunshine.

got my key, went to the room, there were luggage on the floor and people on the bad. I got an alternative room: I was told that there was water in the room, but the fridge was empty and there was not water. the night before leaving, sometime between 22 and 23, I stand up at the front desk waiting for someone to show up, i wanted to pay since the morning after I was leaving at 4.30. I gave up and paid the morning after. at 4.30 after I paid my bill, there was another guy asking for a Taxi. He did not receive support, he had to make a taxi reservation by himself. never saw this before! if the taxi compay you work with is not available you have to help your clients that risk to lose his flight to find alternatives

It was a comfortable experience. The hotel while being slightly older felt refreshed an comfortable enough. However, the thing that surprised me was the mould in the bathroom. It was black an in the corner of the bath. The service in the restaurant was poor (for dinner) and as a result I only ate there once. Breakfast was good however, there was a good variety and there I received special consideration from one of the hotel staff when a large tour group had gone through and cleared things out. The cost for laundry was very overpriced.

We very much liked our stay at Mercure Les Ulis. Nice hotel, a bit old though and need some fresh painting but overall a nice and quiet place, including free private parking area. Breakfast has a very nice variety of hot and cold stuff and large choice of fresh bread and a variety of fresh juices. Situation very near motorway A10 and A11 south France and Brittany. Really a place to recommend

Nice staff, but hotel room was too hot and the AC did not work. Breakfast was simple. Check-out and buying sandwich for lunch took very long time (trouble with PC/untrained staff). If the price was lower, this would be acceptable, but to such a high price I expect more.

There are 2 things that made me provide dissatisfied rating; lack of cold air/AC in the room and poor breakfast staff service. The room also lack hand towel for bathing. The breakfast selection was limited as well, and not tags were provided in French or English to describe the food provided. For example there was sausage without listing the type of meat in it. There was an angry staff member who was mumbling and screaming with anger on everything, and was almost physically handled one of the customers. That customer was Asian and she may have made a mistake on how to cook the eggs - which is a fault of the hotel not providing instructions. The staff member yelled at her, physically pulled the utensil from her, and walked away mumbling with anger.

I have stayed many nights. I have felt at times like family and enjoyed the professionalism of the staff. I watch a manager deal with an extremely rude guess, and felt badly that the manager was subjected to such rude behavior by a person representing a group of other travelers. I have stayed at Accor properties frequently when traveling on business and for leisure, and this stay stands out as the most unpleasant I have had. The weather was cool outside (9 to 10 degrees C) but the hotel room was amazingly warm, despite the heating system being turned to as cool as it could go. We tried opening the window, but because of highway noise and the noise of jet airplanes that was impractical for when we were attempting to sleep. Moreover, there were numerous small things that indicated a lack of care and diligence at the hotel. For example, when we arrived at our room in the mid afternoon, there were cups, flatware, and a beer glass on the floor outside an adjacent room; evidently from room service. No one picked that up during the nearly 20 hours we were present at the hotel. They were there when we rolled our bags past that room to our room, and they were there the next day when we rolled our bags past that room on our way to our car. This shows a lack of care and diligence. Similarly, on one of the elevators was a discarded water bottle cap on the floor. A small thing, but it was there the whole time, despite numerous hotel staff using that elevator. Lastly, the room was advertised as having a refrigerator, and it did, but the refrigerator did not function. It was as warm as the room. It appeared that the switch controlling the refrigerator had been broken by a prior guest, and it was left un-repaired for us to "enjoy." I've managed teams and projects in North America and in France, and observed business units and teams being managed by others in my profession. When I have seen similar lack of care to details, the problem invariably originates at the top with poor managerial leadership. The hotel staff I encountered at the reception desk, restaurant, and the cleaning staff, were uniformly polite and responsive. But they evidently have not been trained to take ownership and responsibility to care for the facility and operate it up to its full potential. I suspect that's not their fault, but rather the fault of the manager(s) overseeing their work. I mentioned at the beginning of this review that I have stayed at numerous Accor properties in the past. As we left this facility after checking out, my wife expressed to me that she had no interest in ever staying at a Mercure Hotel again. I tried to explain to her the niche that Mercure holds in the Accor line of brands, but she was adamant. We will see if her position moderates over time, but I hope that comment communicates how dissatisfied we were with our stay at this hotel.
