Nice room, very clean. Only minor disturbance by ongoing renovation works (short interruption of hot water in shower - 30 sec? and minimal amount of noise). Cleaning staff and bar people very friendly. Breakfast: all I want. Received text message that room was ready upon arrival, but it wasn't. Reception desk offered a drink, that is nice.

If the hotel was not so conviniently located next to the Exhibition Center, I would not go back there. Don't know about the renovated rooms, but the old ones are pretty run down, old fashioned and dirty. Horrible soundproofing, tiny windows, almost no toiletries available in the rooms, unefficient hair dryer, etc.

· The hotel staff were impolite. They were opening the door of the room without knocking and when we asked them to come later in order to clean the room, as we were still there, they shouted that we have to get out of the room, because it is not their duty to come later. It is the first time that I come across such a behaviour. Moreover, during the first day of our stay there, the toilet flush did not work and there was water coming from the toilet, each time we used the toilet. We informed the hotel staff about that just after the check in and we left the room. They told us that they would fix it. We came back in the room about 5-6 hours later and the hotel staff did not inform anyone, the situation was the same. We told the hotel staff and they told us that they forgot to fix the problem and that they would fix it the following day!!! which actually means that we could not use the toilet at all for that day... !!After arguing with them, they let us move to another room, as there was a cancellation. Another negative aspect of the hotel is the fact that it is really difficult to find them on the phone if you need something and it takes them many days before they respond to your e-mail. I would think more than twice before staying at that hotel again and it certainly is not worth the money that you need to pay! I am sure that there are better options to stay in Paris, in which you would need to pay less, but you will for sure have a toilet.

The staff was very kind, both at the reception and at the restaurant. I appreciated the presence of security staff at the entrance of the hotel. The room was very well equipped and the bed very confortable.

The room had no shampoo or conditioner, I asked for extra blanket and they never brought it, needed an iron and they were all out, when I asked again I was asked to leave a deposit which seemed ridiculous since they had my credit card and I wasn’t about to steal an iron.

During a congress it is very important to you have an iron and and ironing board in the room for Congress clothing. As important is to have a efficient hair dryer. Your hotel did not have either of those. The iron and ironing board were available at the reception upon request, but I had to take them to my room self. The breakfast was ok. The hotel has not yet returned the 200€ deposit to my credit card, which is annoying.

It was very nice. Confortable and clean room, good breakfast. The only negative point was the TV - pratically all the channels where french channels. I only found one channel in English - BBC News - which is not enough.

Room was satisfactory . Early check in was very appreciated . Some staff did not speak English at all making communication difficult. Service in restaurant was slow and on many days no service at all you needs to go to bar and request service. I was charged for 6 nights stay although I only stayed 5 nights due to an error in booking date made at the time of booking and despite telling front desk on check in that the departure date was wrong they refused to change it and insistiez on charging for the 6 nights despite the fact that I left after 5 nights ! I requested to speak to a manger but none available !

We were asked to wait for more than half an hour when we arrived after a long train travel. In fact we arrived 1 hour later than check-in time Q 4pm. This was way below expectation especially if one is a Mercure member. Also when compared to service by staffs in Mercure India, the staffs here are very cold and do not help with any further information. Ex: Can I buy train tickets here? (Reply) No! The gallery leading towards rooms was smelling.

I stayed here a month after a previous stay where I left behind items in my room, upon inquiry at the front desk there I was informed that the items were not in the lost property; also the hotel did not reply to an email sent via the accor website, the lost property service could be improved.

Probably its cultural difference. I find the staffs not as welcoming compare to my other hotels I've been to. The responses to queries are not as enthusiastic and often it's just 1 liner reply. Last but not least, I have paid for hotel during booking in June, but was made to pay again upon check-in. However managed to get to refund before checking out.
