Pleasant but little details would have made a big difference: Air con didn't work despite the hotel knowing about it but we weren't told. It was very hot in the room! Price of drinks During breakfast didn't need the waitresses arguing and talking about their work conditions.

We booked a hotel room because we were coming to Strasbourg during a heat wave in August & we wanted an air-conditioned room. Family members in Strasbourg warned us that many hotels have inadequate or no air conditioning. Normally we preffer "boutique" hotels rather than chains, but the Mercure was a great choice. We stayed in a Privilege room, and this was one of the quietest hotels we have ever stayed in. The breakfast is excellent. I almost never like hotel breakfasts, but this one was great. The staff was friendly & helpful. Parking was easy. Free beverages were provided in the refrigerator daily as well as a Nespresso coffee machine in the room. We would definitely stay there again.

We have used the mercure 4 times now for travel stay, every thing was good except for our evening meal I must say the quality of the food was not up to your usual standards

The only snag is the glass of red wine, to hot and not so good, for the rest, nothing to say, really good excepted I would have appreciated a fitness gym and swimming pool opening early in the morning allowing to swim before to go to the office.

I booked 3 nights in that hotel as I had knew it from former stays with good experiences. Unfortunately this time my stay was (very) disappointing as I had issues with my room. I had many big black bugs in my room, crawling all over the floor and the windowsill was really messy with some mold. And the blanket of the bed had many holes. After announcing this to the receptionist after the 2nd night (I showed her pictures) in the morning she told me that they will fix all the issues. When I came back into this room at the evening nothing was fixed at all. Even one of the dead bugs on the floor was laying on the same spot as in the morning so for me it looks that they even cleaned the floor during the day. I went back to the receptionist and after some discussion she wanted to give me another room of the same categories. I told her that this is not very customer friendly as she should even upgrade me to the "Privilege" category which she understood then and gave me a privilege room. This room was a bit better but after some hours some black bugs were crawling again over the floor. I told this to the receptionist at the next morning but except an excuse nothing was offered to me for the inconveniences. I would have expected at least an invitation to breakfast or something else but nothing. This is a real poor customer service and I'm still disappointed. I think I won't book this hotel again.

For an hotel in a very noisy environment, it’s really quiet. Amazing. The rooms are fine, well equipped and aired. Breakfast is anything but good. Half of the staff (2 staff) were useless, the other half did all the work.. same for dinner.. Why gold members get a voucher for 1 person while there are 2 is insulting, something all Accor group hotels suffer from.

We were asked to upgrade (and pay) the room to a family room as we have 1 child, while our family members had 2 standard rooms, no extra payment and with 2 children each (same age). The lady at the reception was not helpful in explaining the differences and said you have no other option! For the breakfast for a 4* hotel having no omelette being served (help yourself only which takes ages) as well as poor variety of cheese options, not always working coffee machine was something unacceptable against what you pay per person for. I would have went to any bakery in Strasbourg and would have a "real" French breakfast not like what was served honestly. Besides this, the fridge in the room was not working.

However, a small baby cot for child under 3 years old can be added. In that’s case, we advise you to book a family room which can accommodate 03 or 04 people maximum (triple or quadruple room). A supplement will be applied for this upgrade because it is another category of room. We will share also your remark about the quality of our hot buffet breakfast. We are happy to offer local, organic and gluten-free products every day to satisfy the majority of our guests. We thank you to inform us that there was a technical problem with the fridge. Do not hesitate to call directly the reception 24h/24 7/j7 during your stay in order to report it. Our team will find a solution for you. I have stayed several times in this hotel. Older hotel, but well maintained, especially the privilege rooms are very comfortable. Minibar, coffee and tea included in price. Breakfast is good, nespresso machine available. Reception staff is professional, however a little smile would have made me feel more welcome.
