Friendly, helpful staff both at reception and at breakfast. We had a corner balcony room with sea view. It clean and the view was captivating. Breakfast was very enjoyable, with lots of fresh fruit, crusty bread, scrambled egg and tea/coffee.

Clean and comfy hotel with a marvelous outlook from our sea view room. Fantastic breakfast with loads of choice and fresh ingredients. The super fresh croissants, fresh squeezed juices, Provence jams and cheeses on offer being almost the best ever. We had a good service at reception, but I thought the receptionists were a bit cheeky towards other guests. You pay top dollar for a sea view room with balcony but unfortunately the balcony's are too narrow for placing a table and chairs on. Bang goes your idea of sitting overlooking the prom and the bay watching the sun going down while sipping a bottle of wine. Bad design rather than the Mercure's fault, I guess.

We really enjoy our stay at our sea wiew room. However we were a bit disappointing learning that at the balcony it was not possible to sit !!! It was a French window.

A very adequate hotel in a good location. Refurbishment / redecoration noise was disruptive to us on 2 of the 3 mornings. Our room needed some redecoration and repairs. The room doors along the corridor were in a poor state.

Great location but lack of hotel management. No WiFi signal in room. Service is the worst among all hotels I have lived in France. Room is not clean at all, especially the bathroom, weird layout design as well.

One of the worst Mercure hotels I have stayed in. Great location but that’s where it ends. Poor check in. Rude staff. Room was disgusting Being a platinum member of Accor group usually get greeted as a special guest. Not in this hotel. Very expensive. I would have been better in a Ibis budget. I will not be returning. Great spot if you want to visit the girly bar next door.

Frankly, I compare the hotel staying with my other Hotel experience. The room quality is poor compared to the other hotels managed by Accor in Dubai for example. Basic facilities are not there. But I like the hotel since it is located in the center of NICE.

Arrived on the last day of Carnival and allocated a corner bedroom with balcony overlooking the Promenade des Anglais and the Jardin Albert. The room was very spacious and comfortable, All staff were very pleasant and helpful. A very agreeable 5 days in Nice.
