« Practical »

Frankly, I compare the hotel staying with my other Hotel experience. The room quality is poor compared to the other hotels managed by Accor in Dubai for example. Basic facilities are not there. But I like the hotel since it is located in the center of NICE.

« What a pleasant short stay »

Arrived on the last day of Carnival and allocated a corner bedroom with balcony overlooking the Promenade des Anglais and the Jardin Albert. The room was very spacious and comfortable, All staff were very pleasant and helpful. A very agreeable 5 days in Nice.

« Not a smooth stay, but very well handled by staff »

Although when we went to check in, there was no room for us (hotel next door was undergoing renevations which lead to our allocated room being flooded) the reception staff swiftly found us alternative accommodation and sorted the payments. When we moved back into our hotel for the second night, the room was excellent and there was a complimentary drink which was unexpected but much appreciated.

I've booked through booking. com for staying Hôtel Mercure Nice Promenade des Anglais from 2/4~2/9. I showed them the booking proof when I checked in on 2/4 and when I checked out ,I left 2 card keys and left hotel as always on 2/9 morning , because there's no mini bar , anything to recheck. because I paid automatically when I checked in through booking.com but after I left hotel. they emailed me i didnt pay so they charged me using my creidit card which I passed them for deposit . so I replied them I already paid though booking.com. then they sent me canllation invoice. but problem is credit card paid me. so I asekd hotel that when it would be settle. they said (Nick) it takes time. but I came home more than 25days ago. I still commicate with them. my last email was 2.22 but didnt get answer and I sent again 3.1. I requested them to get proof credit card cancellation. howcome they didnt check guest was paid or not. and howcome they charged dbl. I must retuning my money by this week. hope that you have to involve this issue to clear up. and I want to get you and hotel reply for payment issue.

Quite nice. The room was very comfortable, extremely clean and appropriately furnished and equipped. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet where staff, recognizing my handicap, offered assistance without my having to ask.

I was very disappointed for two reasons 1) The room was not as clean as it should be - dust on top of the skirting boards 2) The level of building noise from the floors above - reception advised this should not commence until 09:30 and yet we were being awoken at 07:45 by drilling and banging Had I had known the building work was taken place I would had booked elsewhere

I like the hotel..service is very good.all desk managers are perfect..jan jack also has a very good experience in front desk..all employees are nice and polite...the thing whic bather us was the big noise started early morning and they told us it comes from the other hotel.

« Very nice stay »

We love the location of this hotel. The breakfast was excellent as well as the beautiful view from the breakfast dining room. The staff was very helpful both in giving us local bus information and calling a taxi for us. The shower hot water pressure was not good although the water was very hot. We asked for a quiet room, and it was quiet except from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. when the entire 3rd floor above us was under construction! We were out most of the day anyway, but it would have been noisy if we had wanted to sleep in!

Mostly satisfied BUT! BUT! My wife lost two clothes from wardrobe probably on JAN14th. Both clothes for women, one black wool blazer and black & white silk blouse. Clothes were situated in left side of wardrobe, near the door and hanging on hanger. Searched a lot there at Nice and now here at our home at Marbella, Elviria Hills, Spain we have an attitude that the clothes must be forgotten or disappeared mysterious way.

Nice room and great views. Unfortunately, breakfast did not start until 6:30am, but we had to leave at that time for our train. When we asked at reception for breakfast to be earlier, we were told they were not able to do this.
