Here you can have everything you expected from Ibis such as a clean room, a good desk and wifi , professional service, everything is working well. But this Ibis's room was better than avarage Ibis, because the room is a lot more spacious than avarage, and looks new as well, with wooden-look floor board etc so give cleaner impression. There was a restaurant on site which looks quite good although I didn't have time to eat there. May be because of a big room, this Ibis is slightly more expensive than others but if you catch a good day, you can stay with the reasonable price. Nearest tram station is Plais des Congres,just in front(Tram C which goes to city center and the central railway station) . I saw there are also a big outdoor parking on site. The locaion is very good for who wants to be near Exposition park and the stadium. Not so much for pure tourlist.

Not good, room had awful sewage smell the whole night, not like my prior experience of Accor hotels.

As above, I was disappointed. Room has a nasty methane smell I think from the faulty sewage pipes in toilet. Most of the night I didn't sleep well because of the terrible smell. I've stayed in many Accor hotels from Fairmont Princess Bermuda to the cheapest Ibis budget, but this was definitely my worst experience. Not good!!!!

Pleasant reception. Comfortable bed and generous bathroom. Pleasant outlook over the lake. Good secure parking. Breakfast adequate. However dinner in the restaurant was a bad experience. To start with, the waitress showed impatience with our lack of fluency in French. We both chose the duck for the main course but when we cut into it, it turned out to be steak. After our experience with the waitress we decided not to make an issue of it, expecting that we had been misunderstood. When the bill came it however showed duck! I drew this to the attention of the receptionist who went off and came back with someone from the restaurant (not anyone who had served us) who assured us that it there had been no mix up and that we had been served duck. Duck and steak are not easy to confuse, particularly when the steak is quite gristly. That was not duck. A simple apology would have been appreciated instead of a rebuff. Setting that aside, the food was very disappointing for the price. The small steak came only with a mass of potato chips which were dry and tired - amongst the worst I have had anywhere. The desserts were an equal disappointment. My apple tart was soggy and leathery. I would strongly advise anyone to avoid the restaurant. So I have rated the stay as 4/10, it would have been at least 8/10 without the restaurant experience.

The sympathetic and helpful personnel is a plus point of this hotel. The room cleanness, the general well care of the infrastructures and the low noise levels allow a really comfortable and relaxed sleeping overnight.

clean room but not exceptionally so. Toilet in bathroom must be infants height, partner 6'4 me 5'8 with joint problems makes this quite difficult. As always very friendly, helpful and polite staff. Breakfast had a good choice and was kept fresh. The evening meal was very poor with slow roast tomatoes served semi frozen and hot goats cheese also nearly frozen. one burger well cooked and one almost cold in the same bun. Good wine though.

Lovely clean room with very comfortable bed. Staff very pleasant and welcoming especially the staff in the dining room. The only thing I would suggest is that you provide better quality towels , they are very thin and smell unpleasant.

Probably the worst Accor hotel I have ever stayed in.

Room good size, but the window was slightly ajar when I arrived. The room was freezing, heating on full all night was not enough to warm it up. Service in the bar and restaurant was appalling and the worst chicken Caesar salad I have ever eaten.

Hotel was as clean and warm as per previous stays. Staff were welcoming and friendly. The attached restaurant was just as welcoming. Menu was just right for a relaxing tasty meal, good choice of wine 🍷🍷.

We were happy with our hotel room and the reception staff who were very helpful. However the attached restaurant was of a poor quality and we had a dreadful dinner there. The following day we had stomach upsets due to the food.

We were happy to stay once again at Bordeaux Lac, however we remain surprised that such heavyweight duvets/quilts are used, particularly in the warmer months. Yet again we both found it uncomfortably hot in bed which meant we did not sleep as well as we wished.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, but the facilities need to be improved.- there needs to be better basic support, like even the cups for toothbrushing is made of such cheap material that it breaks easily on squeezing.- suggest having something to boil water so that customers can have at least some hot water for drinking etc.
