When and where?
The show, which is rated one of the top five best Flower and Garden shows on Earth, kicks off on March 26 and lasts until March 30. The event will be held at The Carlton Gardens and Exhibition Building on Nicholson Street. There are many accommodation options within walking distance of the exhibition, but you can also find ample parking if you prefer to drive, or you can take public transportation. Tickets for adults are $27 for a single day, but kids get in for $10. Groups of 10 or more can get in for $20 each, while family tickets are $55.
What will you see?
There is so much to see at the show, you may need to buy tickets for a few days to squeeze it all in. There are some highlights we recommend you check out, however. If you're coming with kids, then you'll definitely want to hit up the Children's Fairy Garden, which has a petting zoo, educational gardening lessons for kids, face painting and live entertainment. Art lovers will also have something to enjoy, because there is a sculpture exhibit happening throughout the course of the event. If one strikes your fancy, you can even purchase it right then and there. Of course, the main draw for this event are the beautiful flower and plant exhibitions. You'll see showcases that may inspire your home garden, and you may even glimpse an exotic plant or two that you've never seen before.
