Tiny “Family Room”

Booked a family room to accommodate 2 adults and 2 children. Thankfully it was just for one night, this so called “family room” was TINY. A queen bed was pushed up against one wall that had a floor to ceiling window, and against another wall was a set of bunk beds. There was a very narrow strip between the two and there was no room for us to access our luggage, we had to open one at a time and stack them up into a pile when quickly grabbing our items. There was no room for the 4 of us to be walking around at once and had to coordinate our movements. Far from ideal for a family, and the cost was $305AUD, I expected more. The beds were lovely and comfy, which is the only reason for the 3 stars.

No coffee with our meal

We went to dine with people staying at the hotel. A 42C day we thought to simply eat at the restaurant at the hotel. We ordered our main course and had a drink with that. The food was lovely, very fresh and tasty. Good serves, well served. After we finished our drinks, we went to order coffee and dessert. And we were told that the coffee machine was switched off and coffee was unavailable. We could have a cup of tea, if we wanted. We didn’t and so we didn’t bother with dessert. It was 7.45pm and according to the website the restaurant doesn’t close until 9pm. Coffee after our meal didn’t seem to be an unreasonable request and yet it was.

Convenient Location in East Perth

Nice tidy and clean and relatively new hotel in a convenient location in East Perth. Close to walking and running pathways and a nice stroll into the city with a wonderful IGA across the street that has plenty of wonderful options.The only problem I had was that breakfast didn’t open until 6.30am and l think 6am would be an l deal time in my opinion.

Très mauvaise expérience. Pas d'accueil, pas de sourire et surtout pas d'amabilité quand on demande un service. J'avais oublié un objet dans un resort d'Exmourh, lequel a été envoyé à ma demande à l'Ibis East Perth. Mais l'objet que je pouvais tracer sur Australia Post arrivait après notre départ. J'ai donc demandé comme service que celui-ci soit expédié à une prochaine étape en Australie, à l'Ibis Style Hobart. Australia Post a présenté à deux reprises le colis qui a été refusé au lobby... alors que j'avais fourni une enveloppe pré-payée au lobby qui, dans un premier temps, refusait de prendre ma demande en compte. Finalement, à cause de l'Ibis East Perth, j'ai à la fois perdu du temps (aller retour à la poste pour acheter une enveloppe pré payée) et de l'argent (l'objet oublié était un hydropulseur dentaire qui coûte plus de 100 euros) et l'enveloppe pré payée. . C'est aussi la première fois que j'ai été aussi mal reçue dans un hôtel en Australie. Bien à vous. Michèle A.

Worth a stay

Stayed here while at coldplay concert. The room although was small was very clean and the soundproofing was excellent.It has a free bus into town outside its door. The walk into town was only 20 minutes. Would recommend this hotel to stay in while in Perth.
