L'accueil et le service fournis par le personnel sont remarquables et font la force principale de cet hôtel, ainsi bien entendu que son emplacement parfait sur Princes Street quasiment en face du Scott Monument. Les travaux de rénovation en cours sont nécessaires, et j'ai hâte de voir ce que sera l'hôtel après leur fin, surtout sur un point particulièrement à améliorer : l'isolation acoustique des chambres qui est le point faible. Chambres qui par ailleurs sont confortables, très propres et bien agencées a(juste la salle de bains qui pourrait bénéficier des quelques travaux de rénovation également)

La situation de l'hôtel est très bonne avec les arrêts de bus au pieds de l'hôtel. Les chambres manquent de modernisme mais sont très propre. La literie est de bonne qualité et confortable. Le petit déjeuner est sans doute le point le bien de la prestation. Le choix est limité et le pain était de la veille.
