Con mi familia nos hemos alojado en otras oportunidades en esta cadena de hotel, con excelentes experiencias, sin embargo en esta ocasión nos sentimos que no hubo transparencia al momento de contratar la habitación. Por 5 días opté por una habitación familiar que era muy costosa, sin embargo quería sorprender a mi familia. Al llegar constatamos esta habitación no tenía nada, nada de vista, lo cual uno da por sentado en estos estándares, mas cuando previamente revisamos las páginas y fotografías que proporciona el hotel que son bastante misleading. Obviamente cuando manifesté mi sorpresa, el encargado apareció mágicamente con una habitación con vistas disponible, por supuesto debiendo pagar una suma de dinero importante adicional a la significativa cantidad ya pagada. Hemos tenido la fortuna de viajar y hospedarnos en numerosos muy buenos hoteles, primera vez que me siento engañado a consecuencia de esta falta de claridad que induce a error.

However, I regret to read that the view from your Family Deluxe Pool Villa did not meet your expectations. Kindly note that the villa allocated to your family matched with the villa type for your booking. Moreover, the depiction of the view on offer from our Family Deluxe Pool Villa mirrors reality and does not in any way attempt to deceive our potential guests. These images are consistent across our brand website, various online travel agent sites as well as all of our resort collateral. While I am pleased that your Villa Host, Richard, was able to relocate you to one of our Family Ocean Pool Villas that matched with your preferences and that you were then able to enjoy a relaxing retreat to the tropics with your family; it is disappointing that your constructive criticism was reserved for a public forum given that our team met with you and your wife throughout your stay and there was never a mention of your dissatisfaction with any aspect of your stay. 419h_ctorv, thank you once again for your stay and it is unfortunate that your stay did not start off on the right foot and that you felt cheated in a sense. El Banyan Tree de Samui es absolutamente magnífico como resort de lujo, con un personal exquisito (Dao fue nuestra asistente y su amabilidad hizo del viaje una delicia). La calidad de la estancia hace que no se quiera salir de la Villa, con una magnífica piscina privada y unas vistas espectaculares. Recomiendo encarecidamente el servicio de restauración en la villa (in villa dining), la calidad del producto y el servicio es mejor incluso que en los restaurantes del hotel. El desayuno es variado, de calidad y con inmejorable ubicación. El hotel además está situado en un enclave perfecto para visitar la isla. Sin duda, volveremos
