A Most Underwhelming Experience

Arrival was difficult. Although the hotel has paid parking, there are no clues where this might be on arrival. I parked in the street (free). Check I'm was okay. Got to my room and the air conditioning wasn't working. Went to reception but it was suggested I open the window and enjoy the fresh air. I asked for another room - not possible, full. I asked if I would receive some refund and was told that, although reception could do this, they'd leave it to the manager. Will be interesting what happens. Went to the bar and waited and waited. Finally served by one of the two receptionists. Others waiting too. Appeared only food option was pizza. A guest asked if they had Champagne and was told yes - was actually given Rotkäppchen! It's a hotel turning over lots of people without any personal feeling. Expected more for almost €140.

Wir waren für zwei Nächte im Ibis Styles und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption waren sehr nett, die Zimmer modern und sauber und das Frühstück bot eine große Auswahl, sodass es einem an nichts fehlte. Besonders positiv ist zu erwähnen, dass man sein Auto kostenfrei an der Straße parken kann. Das Preis Leistungs Verhältnis ist in diesem Hotel super!

Hôtel qui correspond aux standards Ibis Styles: c'est propre, litterie et salle de bain impeccables, fonctionnel, tout est bien organisé, mais très impersonnel - les couleurs criardes et froides de la décoration ne donnent pas envie de s'y installer. Petit déjeuner copieux, mais avec des produits visiblement issus de l'industrie agro-alimentaire (qualité moyenne). La direction de l'hôtel n'en est pas responsable, mais l'environnement (rues adjacentes et "centre ville" de Vaihingen) est franchement déprimant.

Une super expérience. On recommande!

Nous avons réservé une chambre pour 3 personnes. On nous à informé à l'arrivée que la personne pour 3 n'étant pas disponible, on mettait à notre disposition deux chambres communicantes. Propreté et qualité de litterie impeccables. Le personnel très aimable et disponible. Boissons chauds gratuites tard dans la nuit. Grand choix au petit déjeuner. Emplacement pas loin des arrêts de transport en commun. Une très bonne expérience.

Everything a family needs from a hotel. Friendly and very helpful staff! Very comfy beds. Big walk in showers with nice green tea soap! Clean and organised with a bar and free tea and coffee in their lobby. Having the breakfast and pizza service is a good bonus. Transport links are excellent with the S-bahn line 7 min walk (train every 10 min to Stuttgartcentral). Rewe supermarket and fresh bakery 5 min walk and Vaihingen centre and restaurants a 15 min walk through the lovely park. No kettle in the rooms but you have proper coffee from a self service machine and a range of teas that you can take upstairs- arguably this is better. The hotel and rooms are spartan but efficient and clean. It's great value for money at (£50 per double room per night, July 2023).
