Booking in and leaving was a lengthy process. Smelled of cigarette smoke in the lift and concierge area. Concierge were brilliant, waiting staff were brilliant except for confusion with Bartercard menu. Accommodation was good.

However, we're sorry that some aspects didn't fully meet your expectations, including the service and our menu selection for vegetarians. Stayed here for the Disturbed concert and really happy with it. Room was perfect for us and the staff were amazing. Helpful as could be, and so polite. Great little breakfast at the buffet in the morning as well. Thanks guys

Comfortable room in a great location, but not quite 5-star

Fable was a comfortable stay, but not a luxurious one. The hotel position themselves as a boutique 5-star hotel, but I'm not sure I'd agree. I waited nearly 10 minutes to check in as there was only one staff member seated at a desk in the lobby area managing check ins and check outs. There were two other guests also waiting a while to check in. In a 5-star hotel, this process should be prompt, and seamless. On arrival I requested a sewing kit as my button had popped off my dress, I was assured one would be delivered to my room, but it never arrived. Secondly, there were no bathrobes in the room, which is disappointing for a hotel claiming to offer all the amenities. And the "wardrobe", if you can call it that, was so small I couldn't hang or store most of my clothes. But, most disappointingly of all was that my hotel room had an ugly view onto a dirty back street lined with bins.
