This hotel always provide a good service to us, I was landed in Spore early morning and reached the hotel at about 7am. The front desk was awesome, by around 8am the room for us was ready. Really appreciate it so we could rest and got the room way before the check in time. It was a smooth stay too with easy to get Taxi and the hotel connected to MRT station.

Experience was not good, there was a cockroach in my room, was terrified I travel extensively and this has never happened in a hotel before. Hotel did address the situation and changed my room when I reported it.

Service is good as it always has been in past. The Room given was... disappointment. I have stayed in Fairmont Singapore many times and never had such room. Short list of topics I found disappointed - Room did not have automatically pillow selection - Room TV remote controller was meant to different TV and did not work - Room overall appearance was worn down - The Most difficult issue for me was the smell on the room and floor. The Floor had some kind of air circulators assembled in the hallways and smell of tobacco lingered in the hallway in the floor. The Room itself had also traces of smoking or other source of smell. The Aircondition was so high in the room that it is difficult to say. I would no recommend the Hotel to anyone based on that room. I Hope you can arrange more fitting room for non-smoking guests in the future. Lauri

Visit every month to Fairmont Singapore, always a pleasant stay. the facility / amenity / rooms are all more than expectation. Only issue is to get an taxi, need GRAB to hire a taxi in the morning time.

It was overall fine, however, I was surprised that the hotel does not provide cables like a HDMI cables. I was having a presentation in my room and I had already requested for cables during my booking. This whole issue held up my presentation to 1.5hours later as an associate had to buy the cable from Raffles City at the eleventh hour. I was really disappointed about this because I am a known filmmaker and photographer and my guests were influencial people from the industry. This was embarrassing.

I requested a non smoking room with a KIng Bed. When I arrived, the requested room was not available and I was asked if I would like a room with 2 double beds. I said no and it took a while for the reception desk to find a room with a King Bed. But the room was a smoking room and I was told there was nothing else available with a KIng Bed! The room was large but it did have smokey smell.

Overall the hotel was great except for a few niggles. Check in was great (and early!). Found we had a balcony; then found we couldn't use it due to building work. As we booked 9 months ago, it would have been nice if someone had e mailed us to say renovations (and restrictions) would be happening. We had acouple of other issues. Ice had to be ordered from room service. As such, not a problem...except the day it didn't turn up and the day it took 40 minutes. Then we had the day our room wasn't serviced. These 'oversights' were sorted by the front desk staff. Breakfast was good and the room was pretty good (loved the shower!). We would probably stay there again.
