Everything would seem to be okay only if the hotel kept its standard of giving enough and proper amenities throughout the stays without having to be requested. I would say that not everyone like to beg and request things.

The welcoming part was made my stay good. they manage to deliver my early check-in request, thanks to Ms. Gina at the front office. The downside, i can't use the pool. which is one of the reason, i choose fairmont. the location was good, connected to the City Hall MRT Station. The breakfast quality was also good, elegant, even though not so many options. The room are clean, despite they're in the refurbishment project on going.

The staffs were very friendly. They catered to my request for halal breakfast and sent it all the way to my room. The room has slightly dirty. Toilet bowl had some stains and there were some rubbish on the floor when we first came in though. My mum was upset that there was no bidet inside the toilet as this is an essential component for a Muslim. I think it would be great if fairmont could install bidets in the bathroom to cater to their muslim guests. I believe there would be more influx of guests if this was the case. However, overall it was still an enjoyable stay and would recommend. Would like to specially thank Joyce for her good service.

I love staying at The Fairmont. The only thing that was an issue was that I had the do-not-disturb light on all day, and I was trying to take a nap at 5pm when somebody from the hotel staff started knocking on the door. I thought it was next door so I ignored it. Then she walked in and when I noticed somebody had come in I said "excuse me". she apologized... but instead of leaving immediately, she started to ask me about my experience and if there was anything she could do. I was in bed, in my pajamas, and just needed her to leave. That was it.

I stayed at the Fairmont I'm 2017 for work travel and because of that incredible experience I insisted on returning there despite a rather comprehensive list of company approved hotels. The room was not as impressive and comfortable as my first stay. (No bath :( ). The construction noises were more distracting this trip from the work on the pool directly below. The unavailability of a close and easy pool was disappointing. The highlight of the last trip was breakfast at Prego. The awkward offering at the Sechuan court and the overly packed and busy Clove restaurant was much less pleasurable. The location, spa and gym facilities were still very good. I am traveling to Singapore in November and after this experience I am unsure whether I will go Fairmont or try out an alternative.

I visit you very often - almost always when in Singapore. I do long day in business, but like to exercise in the evenings / early morning, I am triathlonist (swim-bike-run). However, this time pool was closed and I did not get any info in prior to arrival. Therefore I could not do my daily exercise, which made me unhappy. I was offered opportunity to get transportaion to pool at other hotel, but it is impossible for me with such a busy schedule.

Nice hotel but loud noice during night time and day time

Nice hotel with facilities. However, there is a construction around the building that’s why I heard loud noice during day time. But at night time, I heard pipe noice assuming it was when room next door use toilet. Also, my toilet is not good. When I flush, the water tends to keep running nonstop.

I've stayed in the Fairmont on a number of occasions and always enjoyed it immensely. I was expecting a similar experience this time, but I was disappointed that the pool area and restaurants were unavailable, as they were being refurbished. Although the work had been ongoing for a month before I arrived, I was notified of the work and its impact only two days before my stay. I did wonder if this late notification was to prevent my finding an alternative hotel for my trip.

The staff were great, friendly and accomodating but there were rennovations works going on which I thought were meant to be finished by the time I arrived and being the 5* hotel they are and with the high prices they were still charging I was expecting it to be a lot less disruptive. The building works noise was incredibly loud in both rooms I stayed in, meaning I was unable to lay in on my relaxing holiday and after some sightseeing thought I would relax in my room for a bit but this was not relaxing. The pool was not available for guest use either and as an alternative we could use another pool that was a taxi ride away and not something I wanted to do as the whole point of the pool in my hotel was so I could relax and pop back to my room easily. Lastly I booked a very expensive spa treatment which was not great! don't bother with the waxing here as it is overpriced and half a job. It was meant to be a 2 hr treatment but the therapist decided to cut it short and start tidying and finishing up 20mins early. I was meant to have a half hour foot massage on the end of my treatment which lasted roughly 10 mins, overall very dissappointed. Highlight of the stay was the kind helpful staff, comfort of the bed, and cleanliness of the room. It is just a shame I was charged full price for a room that although comfy and clean was unbelievably noisey and therefore ruined the relaxing part of my stay.

Relaxed, rejuvenated, awesome experience staying in fairmont. Nothing to fault. except for the renovation going on and unfortunately the pool cant be used, but its fine because there is transport to other hotels to use the pool.
