Do not park your SUV in the car park !

Despite many attempts to exit the car park lift because its at a slight angle, as the other review has stated, you WILL damage your car if its an SUV like my Porsche Macan. The hotel will deny this is the case but I will have the repair cost of over €1000 to prove it. The car park is for small cars only & Ibis should make this absolutely clear in the hotel description. As for the hotel itself, its 15 minutes walk from major attractions so that's a plus but the room itself is tiny. Only suitable if you're on a very restrictive budget & certainly not if you have a large car to park.

This hotel was nice and clean and fairly new. The location is quite handy to the metro, 20 meters and you are at Lavapies Metro. Although can be noisey at night outside in the square on a weekend night. The hotel doesn’t stores bags for free unless for a short time. Instead there are lockers you have to pay for in the carpark. Although if you check out towards 12 we found that they are all full. I would recommend the get another set, as 20 lockers isn’t enough for a hotel. Overall we enjoyed our staff and the staff including the manager was very helpful. Staff speak good English.
