« A lovely hotel in the beautiful old town! »

The staff at the reception desk were very welcoming andefficient; the breakfast was delicious; Anna ( at the Priority Guest Desk) was extremely helpful when we had trouble printing our boarding passes; we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! One slight disappointment was that our room had not been cleaned on either the Tuesday or the Wednesday when we returned after four o'clock in the afternoon.

Very enjoyable stay. Good value for money. Room very comfortable. Facilities very good. Breakfast very good - a wider selection of prepared fresh fruit would be nice. My only minor criticism was the cleaning of the rooms and tidying of the bed which was carried out without enough attention to detail and sometimes very late in the day.

The hotel is great and location is excellent. Rooms were very nice with all equipment needed. Wifi was good and the place was quiet, temperature with air conditioning was excellent and the air condition device was not noisy at nights :-) Info point is little bit slow. You will need more processing points than 2 there.

I spend some 60 nights per year in hotels, so I consider myself a seasoned traveler. I used to be Le Club Accorhotels Platinum, but after Accor pulled out of Scandinavia, I'm now down to Gold; having to stay in other hotel brands on my Scandinavian travels. In general I was very satisfied with the stay in your hotel. I have stayed in other Pullman hotels, so I knew what to expect, and most of my expectations were fulfilled. A few items need your attention, though: - In the week up to my arrival, I had received 2 mails from you advertising the fact that I could upgrade my room to a better category for some price. In other words: Rooms of a better category were obviously available. I'm a Le Club Accorhotels Gold card holder (card number 30…9745). One of the benefits of the gold card is that I am supposed to get upgraded automatically to a better room, if one is available. As far as I can tell, this did not happen. Why? - My stay had been prepaid using a combination of money and Le Club Accorhotels bonus points. Upon check-out I was told by your staff that everything was settled. I then left your hotel. One minut later, one of your Front Desk staff came running after me out in the street, wawing his arms and calling me to get me to stop. He believed that I still owed 110 Euros that had not been paid. This sum of money equates to the 6000 bonus points that I had used as partial payment. When I explained this, he accepted the explanation and went back to the hotel. I find it quite embarrassing to have someone run after me in this manner in a public area; making me appear as if I was trying to run from my hotel bill!!! First of all because everything was indeed paid in full, and secondly because you DID have my name, address and credit card on file, so even if there had been a part of the bill that had not been paid, you could have just charged my credit card. I find this experience to be very much below the standard I would expect from a 5 star hotel. I would very much like to hear your response to these two items. I can be reached on ja… On the positive side, I would like to mention the "Welcome mr. P." set-up in my room with bottled water, fresh fruit and delicacies from your restaurant. Very impressing. And your breakfast buffet was top notch! But most importantly: All the staff we were in contact with, were extremely courteous and helpful (even the one running after us on check-out!). A real asset for your hotel :-) One final plea: Could you please make the water in the swimming pool 1 or 2 degrees warmer? It was extremely cold! Best regards Jan Broe P. The location was excellent. The rooms were a little small and congested with too much furniture. Breakfast was excellent. The slope in bathroom shower was not proper leading to water leaking to main area under door of shower stall. The staff was excellent and very helpful.

We had only 1 window in the room, while we saw other rooms had 2 and more on the same floor nearby. The view via window was old abonded building. I guess we were allocated to the worst room near cleaning personnel as we were staying for 1 night? The room itself was clean except toilet room in the corner there was hair. There is also no bin in the toilet you need to carry whatewer you have to another section of open bathroom to the bin under the sink. The allocation of the bathroom in 3 sections( separate shower, toulet and sink) is not comfortable if you staying more than 1 night. There is no space to put own beauty products as instead of table there is a sink. So in order for me to dry and straigten hair as well as do make up I need to use that small gap between wall and sink ( my stuff did not fir in) to do my routine. If I would travel for business I wouldnt have a peoper table for work in the room as there is sink. We liked quality sheets as I use same for my hotel as well. We liked extra long and wide duvet that is being used for double bed. The spa facilities are very decent and the pool was smaller and not as wide as in pictures. Terrace with a view is lovely. Best part was breakfast as I travel it was probably the best breakfast Ive seen in long time ( variety of food is impressive). The location is great, parking is expensive there is no deals for hotel Guests as probably no contract with nearby parking lot. Staff is lovely, but on Reception there was no proper reccomendation of Restaurants. Maybe training or list of Restaurants should be conducted and provided for Staff? We were sent to ear burgers...We didint we found out info on google later on, but it tooks us time as we not locals. Interior is great. All in all 8/10

« A great hotel in a great city »

The Pullman hotel in Riga is well located right in the city center in a quiet area. Rooms are modernly furnished and clean. The fitness center is well equipped and the terrace is very nice as well. The only little problem is the lack of organisation around the breakfast crowd...there are not enough free tables for all the hungry guests in the morning...
