It was my third stay at the property. I really enjoyed the hotel and my room. I guess ocean view and pool access rooms are the nicest to book. Very friendly and genuinely helpful staff. I could basically mention everyone, but I am especially grateful to Marini, Dwi, Titi, Eric and management Victor, Rudi and Roy. Customer service at the hotel is outstanding! Beautiful weather, regardless of the rainy season! I wasn’t overly excited with the food. Salmone pizza ordered at the pool bar was very average in comparison to the beach bar. The same burger at Kweezen. Buffet breakfast was very generous, but I saw that it got slightly worse in comparison to the previous years. It’s certainly still an experience though. I really enjoyed chicken teriyaki and miso soup. I missed kimchi, laksa, tasty cold cuts. Eggs Benedict below any standard unfortunately. Good selection of tasty breads. Apart of freshly squeezed juices (upon request), any other juices tasted very average and appeared to be sweeten with something. Club Millesime offering appropriate, but could be better - high tea offering all the same during the stay (only hot options slightly changing). Offering during the canapés varied from appropriate to low average, in comparison to other Sofitels in the region. With the low cost of food and workforce in Bali, quality of the offering could be improved. Welcome gift presentation - the worst over the three stays, but I must say it was tasty. Welcome drink - very limited redemption selection - I know that alcohol is expensive in Bali, but it’s better to set a price limit per voucher rather than providing a special list of drinks with limited selection. Very friendly SOFit staff - aquaerobic and boot camp classes. Thank you! Overall, it was an excellent stay, with a satisfactory loyalty recognition. I guess, food wasn’t a highlight, but almond croissants every day definitely were amazing.

We recently spent a week at this hotel and although very busy due to Chinese New Year (over 90% occupancy), the staff and service were top class. Nusa Dua is a very quiet area away from the hustle and bustle of the busy side of the island however we were aware of that and enjoyed the peace and quiet.

As a honor member of Accor, we had been visit many hotels in Thailand, Singapore and Japan, this Sofitel is luxury of the building and room design, but when we entered the room, we did not see any welcome fruit? As we visited other Sofitel or SO Sofitel, we thought the welcome fruit was the normal service?And when we went to the Italian restaurant for dinner, it suddenly rained but they just let you sit outside without any reaction...The room had a private pool but not very clean, we could see many dead warms and hair and even cigarette...the good point is the room is still very clean, and housekeeping had done the good job!The breakfast buffet was not as good as other Sofitel, the food zones were in a maze, and when we came in, no one tried to service you with tea or coffee. The Benedict egg was not well cooked, the salads had few vegetables could choose. The traditional Indonesia noodles were delicious!All above these we still like this Sofitel, hope it can be better when we come back again cause we love Bali!

Initially Exceeded my expectations, Then upon closer inspection, the rooms are a little tired and old and need a re-fresh and a thorough clean. Sitting at the lobby bar is Devine taking in the views etc. It’s just often too hot and humid there and there’s no fans of cooling relief.

On Tuesday apparently there was a national holiday, we were not informed of this... everything more or less closed at 10pm (the beach club, which was open till 1am the day prior). As a platinum accor member I did not get: Typical welcome letter explaining benefits (complimentary dry cleaning perhaps?) in the resort for platinum members and some complimentary fruit/chocolate/candy and/or water, perhaps a personal welcome note from the general manager. As we did not get a room upgrade, we got a complimentary dinner in kwee zeen, but it was hard to redeem this (no voucher or otherwise) and in the end had to get this fixed on the bill during checkout. My opinion is that while there was no room upgrade available, it was probably due to that specific lagoon view room not being available upgraded, if we would have been offered an alternative we might have taken it... the resort was hardly fully booked (unless for some reason all people were hiding in their rooms all day). The night before our departure we asked for a late checkout, as the manager was not reachable I would be informed the next morning. We were not informed, instead I got the request at 12:15 to vacate the room by 13:00. As we were still sleeping due to jetlag from Europe this wasn't very nice. Email communication and staff don't seem to be in sync or sometimes logical... I am not sure if all the staff are so new or... One example is, the payment system didn't work when booking (while it seemed fine on my end. This is an error on your end as was mentioned in an email... but I was requested the day prior to arrival to submit my card details by email. This is a very common vector for card data theft and fraud... later in the email there was the option given to pay on arrival... this should have been option 1 as it reduced all overhead and is a lot more convenient for the customer. We checked in to Royal Beach Seminyak and realized what a difference in service there is for very little difference in price, all the things mentioned we got and more. Not just a welcome note... but a personalized welcome.

Having stayed in the Sofitel LeFauborg in Paris, we had a wonderful stay there and thought why not try the Nusa Dua hotel ... our expectations were exceed .... great hotel, awesome staff, really good food and a wonderful beach club

We had an amazing time staying at the Sofitel! We had an issue with the accommodation that was booked by our travel agent however, both Victor and Goldy assisted us effortlessly with finding suitable accommodation for our family. All facilities on site were fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed dinners at all restaurants within the resort and I thoroughly enjoyed treatments as So Spa and the Shampoo lounge. The breakfast variety was the best we have ever had. All staff were friendly and went above and beyond to assist us. We have recommended the resort to all our family and friends.

We selected this resort to relax after two weeks sightseeing different places in Southeast Asia. We spent 5 days here in January 2019 and enjoyed the whole time around its beautiful grounds and the beach. Staff was attentive and professional. However the beach is not the best.

Unclean stained sheets stained rugs No staff make conversation bad English skills no pool towels for plunge pool rooms makes no sense unable to sign out towels for day trip no power around pool for phone charges ( mot resorts have these) Staff seem uninterested 45 mins for a pizza by pool food variety not that great and overpriced Not 1 staff member asked us anything about how was our stay they seem more interested in getting you out and people in The layout of resort confusing walking through restaurants to rooms the resorts grounds were clean but I can get nice resort that gives complimentary coffee pods turn down service and chocolates delivered to your room for a third of the price Holiday Inn and Rama Beach have a lot better service and much more friendly staff Sofitel seem to be trading on the name only as the service and friendliness from staff non existent Thanks Sally

This is a great resort for families with young children, with a kids club with heaps of activities daily, a kids pool area, and the fact kids are allowed throughout the hotel areas. As I was not travelling with young children, I would have liked just one area of the pool to be adults only, as I found it very noisy, with lots of screaming and splashing, but that is personal preference. Buffet breakfasts were excellent, with so many options and much of it made fresh in front of you. We tried both main restaurants, the fine-dining Cucina and Asian Kwee Zeen, and loved both. Bars were also excellent, with great cocktails and happy hour deals. The rooms were spacious and modern, with every amenity required. We had multiple room types in our group, but I would recommend the lagoon access room to truly experience this resort, stepping off your porch into the pool is truly an amazing experience. However, privacy was an issue in the room for me, as I was sharing with my brother. The screen door to the bathroom was extremely hard to move, and didn’t always work properly. Additionally, the bathroom was very open, you could see from the shower to the sink, bath and toilet quite clearly, and the other way as well. This was quite an issue for us, as only one of us could use any of those amenities at a time. Another unexpected part of the stay was the beach. While I must stress that this beach is stunning, with nice sand, great daybeds and views and clear water, it was advertised to us as a private beach. I wasn’t expecting to be approached by local people trying to sell souvenirs, but this happened quite frequently.
