It is always a pleasant experience to stay at Novotel SAMATOR in East Surabaya. Brand New & Fresh carpet would make stay comfortable. Breakfast was & always been fabulous, with lots of variety, including local dish. However, the "hot water pressure" is very low at 9th floor, which makes Novotel Samator don't get 10 score on this stay.

I really don't like waiting to reservation (checking in). Before that day when I was as committee of Munas I had same experiences with my guests about checking in at this hotel (July 19, 2019). You have to solve the bottleneck of guests at front office (receptionist).

The hotel staff are friendly. I arrived at 3pm, and I have to wait untill 3:45pm for check in. It's a little bit make me disappointed, waiting too long for check in But overall is very good, the facilities, the room, breakfast. My kids very happy stay at this hotel.

I ordered beverages from restaurant, it took more than 20 minutes to provide a juice. (I was at the restaurant, not in the room btw). At night, i had little accident and I need betadine, they said, we dont have.. I said how come this hotel doesnt have kit aid?? Finally they promised to bring one. More surprisingly after waiting for some times they gave “used betadine” for real?? You guys can do better than this. Indeed new hotel, but poor services :(

Love the interior and the view from the room, new buildingwith modern style, bed was comfy, room is actually spacious for me and my bestfriend, pool is so awesome , and food is average. Some of the food are delicious like Soto and the chicken with dabu-dabu sauce, but the soup of the poridge was too salty which I couldnt eat it (before I ate it with the brooth was good), and the sirsak and mango juice tasted different which how i have it usually and after that I got sore throat. Overall i love the hotel, and I'll come back pretty soon.
