Service was great, with no question too hard to answer. Room was comfortable and warm in a wet and stormy few days. The history tour of the station was informative and very interesting.

Thoroughly enjoyed it, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, great place to wander and discover the area. Perhaps more choice in menu for Room Service. It is a hidden gem and I live in the area. Have already organised to go there with friend and family for lunch, no none knew we could just go for lunch or coffee. One daughter who visited us while we were there intends to book a weekend with her friends.

Your Reception Staff were fantastic, as were the Shuttle Drivers, breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The location is wonderful and we especially enjoyed learning about the history of the QStation. Unfortunately our stay was ruined by our experience eating at the Engine Room restaurant. We had specifically chosen to dine at the QStation with our friends instead of heading into Manly because we wanted to enjoy our final night together experiencing the wonderful location. To cut a very long and painful story short from the first interaction, staff seemed very busy and distracted, we were told that the wait for food was approximately one hour, after a really long wait our friends received their meals, portions were minuscule, the steak didn’t match the description on the menu. We didn’t receive our meal despite ordering at the same time. We had to ask three times. Eventually spoke to the Manager who said there was a mix up with the order. By the time we got our meal everyone was grumpy and the night was spoiled.

Our visit to the centre was prompted by attend a ghost tour on Friday night. Our tour guide was the awesome Mel. We booked for Sunday night based on the experience. Unfortunately due to incorrect information supplied by the person who took our booking we were unable to do another ghost tour due to the family tour not being held on a Sunday. My family was extremely disappointed but we didn’t want this to spoil our visit so we made the best of the unfortunate experience. We had also booked a Sunday morning history talk. The guide was very informative, however her personal skills were not up to the same warm nature as Mel.

Lovely spacious room, the only thing needed is a light on the desk as we had to move it to near the door to get enough light to do my crossword or read the paper. This was also an issue when we stayed in April otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

While the venue is very nice, the cold shower was not, nor the poor to no reception for the free to air TV. Being asked to wait outside in the cold while the rest of our group arrived, instead of being taken straight to our booked table was not acceptable. In the end we insisted on going upstairs to the table and began walking up, at which point, the floor waiter said he would take us up.

During our stay we complained six times regarding lack of TV reception. At times we had a black screen and other times extensive pixilation We had four staff members attend attempting to fix, to no avail. On two occasions we were told that we could move rooms. In one of those instances we even packed ready to go. On that last occasion we were then offered the alternative of free movies. It was obvious that this was the choice we had to take. Again, while we availed ourselves of the movies the second we attempted to watch we were gain presented with a blank screen.

Check in was quick and efficient. Bus to room arrived in a timely manner. Bed was super comfortable but had to have the heater on all night due to very thin quilt. Sofa bed was broken, leg was actually hanging off and no blanket or pillows were provided for this bed. Found some sheets and pillowcases in a box outside and has to take the cushions off the sun lounge in the guest lounge for pillows.
