« Amazing experience in an amazing country »

Great service, friendly staff, amazing food on the roof restaurant, rooms were clean and spacious. one area where there is room for improvement is the workout room in Wellness Center, maybe rearranged to have more free weights... rest everything Great!

« Too many mistakes »

We stayed here on our honeymoon with high expectations. Unfortunately a number of small errors made by the hotel made it a disappointing experience. We booked an airport transfer with hotel that after an hour never showed up. Very frustrated we took a taxi to the hotel instead. When we arrived the staff were very apologetic and offered a free transfer for our return flight which was a nice gesture. When we got to our room, the smell of smoke was overpowering. The hotel quickly rectified this by moving us to another room, but it was again frustrating. As an Accor Plus Gold Member i usually get a complementary room upgrade, but no rooms were available so we were offered a free breakfast instead. With all the great cafes in the local area we ate out most of the time anyway. When we did have breakfast at the hotel it was a nice view, but the noise from construction was so loud that it wasn’t very pleasant. During our stay we contacted the reception to make a restaurant reservation and they told us they would take care of it. When we came down at the appointed time we found out that no one had contacted the restaurant. Reception called the restaurant only to find out it was booked out. Instead they gave us a great recommendation for another restaurant which was even better but we were disappointed that no one had followed through with the initial request. A minor annoyance was our tea bags not being refreshed during our 3 day stay. Finally when we left the hotel we asked for our bags to be brought down, and we were about to get into the car when one of the staff told us a bag had been left in the room. Again, the issue was rectified but disappointing that it happened at all! On the positive the staff were generally very helpful, food was nice and the onsite Turkish baths were very nice.

« A very pleasant stay in a hotel which exceeded expectations and is ideally located for Istanbul tourist attractions. »

Our stay was only short but the hotel was very comfortable and clean, and the location was ideal for reaching Istanbul attractions on foot. The bars and cafes just around the corner made for relaxing evenings out whilst the rooftop restaurant with its exceptional views and good service made for enjoyable meals, drinks and breakfast. The staff were all extremely pleasant and helpful.

« Great Stay! »

The stay was very pleasant - we were assigned (which was perfect with four children) as suite plus an adjacent standard room. The rooms were beautiful and clean. A great view of the Bosporus! The beds were were comfortable. Breakfirst on the wonderful 6th floor with the amazing view was excellent. So was dinner at Mürver - also the cocktails. The staff was super helpful and extremely friendly. We were all very impressed. One tiny suggestion: all chairs in the restaurant should be equipped with felt pads, otherwise one can hear the chairs being moved even two levels down. Should take an hour to equip all chairs accordingly (some seem to have felt pads, btw) and only cost perhaps 100 Euro or so.

Perfect location,nice terrace and very good breakfast.But poor service, the staff did not want to help you. The room is not so clean for a five stars hotel. The reception not helpful at all ........and the staff didn’t speak Turkish with us and also they didn’t speak English too. The drinks are not good only the wines in the bottles but cocktails and the others drinks were so bad!!! Only the location and the view to the Bosphorus was amazing.

Nice hotel, nice rooms, pleasant, friendly and courteous employees. If I had to find a setback that would be breakfast. The variety was impeccable, the quality of scrambled eggs and certain other products was not so good. Moreover I did not like the filtered coffee. But overall I was really satisfied with the hotel.

My boyfriend and I had a great time at this hotel, the bedroom was stylish, the bathroom was very modern, staff friendly and very helpful. We absolutely loved the hotel rooftop bar, I would recommend this hotel to all, families, couples and friends travelling. Nearby were fantastic bars and restaurants, we were spoilt for choice.

We stayed for 1 night only, but this hotel is a place where i would like to come back. Overall level is even higher then other hotels of Novotel worldwide. Perfect breakfasts on rooftop, big choice of food, good rooms. Location is also good, lots of cafes nearby. Tram station is about 5 min walk.

My first night there was loud music BLASTING until 4:00 AM. I called the front desk at 0:230 to ask to change to another room. I was told that the hotel was full. I paid for a conference room and the other 11 people in my group had a quiet room. Not once did a manager speak to me regarding my not having any sleep on Thursday night.
