Front desk was understaffed. Only one person for check in, check out and serving the hotel bar. The staff was super friendly and tried really hard but the wait times were very long.

Too basic for the price

No kettle, no phone, no tea or coffee facilities, no toiletries, it was shocking for the price charged. Had to ask for a hand towel daily. I mean you cannot get more basic than this! Pillows were so flat. Breakfast was probably the only decent thing.

We appreciate your feedback and regret to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. We would like to clarify that as a 3-star property, certain facilities like a kettle in the room are not part of our service. We do offer hot drinks at our bar. About the phone we have to explain, that we strive to go with the newest technologies which is why we have an app for room service instead of a phone. We apologize for the inconvenience with the hand towel and the pillows. We're pleased to hear that you enjoyed our breakfast. Firstly, the rooms are spacious and the toilet is also very spacious, compared to other IBIS Hotels in Europe. So sleep was very comfortable. Location is of course the best if you want to be near to the train station, which is just a few minutes walk. I gave it 3 stars because one of the reception staff was not very helpful. She was unfriendly and refused to let us check in at 1pm, even though we were Accorplus Platinum members, citing that the hotel was full and check-in time was 3pm. We found it a bit unbelievable that occupancy was 100% as there were MANY floors with MANY rooms. However, I must qualify that there were other staff who were very polite and helpful too. So I hope you don’t get the grumpy staff when you check in.

Perfect Location, good price, absolutely friendly staff, rooms after renovation, but two things which I prefer to mark - no ironing equipment throughout the hotel (I had to go to the Novotel , to iron the clothes), that caused inconvenience for me. Second thing - no drinking water in room - why? Even cheap hotels & Appartements have a couple of bottles in room. In my opinion- for your level of chain hotel - there must be water in room.
