Unfortunately I can’t say I had the best experience with Ibis. When I arrived I was given my room, which was still left from the previous guests! I made beds, rubbish I’m the bins, dirty bathroom. Domestic services were on the corridor and weren’t happy and made some sort of phone call to reception however, it was all in French and I couldn’t understand. She said to leave our bags and we left. The room wasn’t the one I booked- I wanted the marathon room because we’d come for the marathon, however upon questioning this, reception said, oh we can never guarantee a room, so you just get any- again, completely bad service, my booking email clearly stated the marathon room and no email had come through since to tel me otherwise. When I checked in I was asked if I wanted to add breakfast, I replied no, because I’d brought my own porridge due to running - the next day, I checked my invoice before leaving and found that 2 breakfasts had been added on! Good job I checked. At the end of the stay, the bags had been stored while we ran, I went to collect these and the receptionist went into the cupboard and then pointed at the stored bags and said ‘yours’- she didn’t even lift them from the bottom shelf- which in other hotels is just what they do. The service was awful, the bed uncomfortable (I barely slept ) the cheeky add ons to the bill and the lack of willingness to go an extra inch let alone a mile to make guests happy.. I wouldn’t pick this hotel again. The previous night I stayed further down the road in local hotel - and the service was second to none, the staff were amazing, the stay was faultless. The ibis was hard work and not pleasant

Met most expectations, however, I was charged an early check-in fee when as a Le Club AccorHotels member I was informed that this charge would be waved if rooms were available. Several rooms were available when I arrived.

I regularly (for 2 years) come to this hotel for business as its location is convenient. The staff is friendly. One big concern I have is that there is no longer possible to use the fridge from the reception while not providing any alternative solution- this is not acceptable.

I had chosen the quick check in/out procedure. When booking I chose one of the specially decorated rooms. It was explained that when arriving I would get my roomkey handed over and just the city tax had to be payed. When arriving with my colleague, the receptionist asked our passports and asked me why I had asked for the room 821! (?) In front of my colleague - working relation - this was quite embarrassing... I said I had not asked for the room 821 but I had chosen a room and a quick check in and above all I wanted a quiet room as I had to work and needed my sleep. He then gave me room 245! Above the bar and next to a street where there is traffic. Why did this person change my whole reservation, in the end the check in time took the same time as if I had not checked in before! When asking whether we could eat at the restaurant, we became a stupid answer and I have to say the meal we were served was beyond everything... luckily I was not sick afterwards. So to resume my stay at your hotel... not worth the money at all! Very disappointed!

All good for work at the UN, spoilt as in 2016 by poor staff attitude to problems; in 2016, the last night of a five-night stay for our team of four had been cancelled, staff wouldn't believe us and it took a long time, at around 2330, to sort it out; this year a double was provided instead of a twin, but desk staff would not believe me and argued that the room must be a twin, and when I was offered a different twin room after a long wait, the senior staff member came upstairs with me to check, either whether I was telling the truth or whether my eyes were deceiving me, or perhaps whether I had slept in the bed first. Strange behaviour.

He hotel was clean, quiet, and comfortable. We enjoyed the lobby space. We had two problems with the front desk. First, we had reserved a particular room, but we’re not assigned that room upon check in. Second, upon checking out we were charged for breakfasts that we did not eat.

Overall, I did not think, it was value for money at £235 per night that I paid. Ordered food, and had to take the tray myself to the room. For ironing, I was asked to go to 8th floor. The cloth on ironing board was not clean. Had to bring a cloth from room to be able to iron.
