Great hotel near Southwark Bridge. Easy to find and close to many London attractions. Quick check in by friendly staff. I had asked for a quiet room on a higher floor and we had just that - a room on the fourth floor at the back with a perfect view of the Shard. I am a light sleeper but slept perfectly both nights of our stay. Rooms were really well soundproofed and doors closed quietly. The bed was really comfy with additional pillows provided. Breakfast was a continental buffet and was constantly replenished. All staff were efficient and friendly. We will definitely be back next time we are in London.

Reception experience good, room comfortable - if decor rather odd - but WiFi a problem as kept dropping out. Not good enough in this day and age.

I travel a lot as a project manager in an international organization and I usually avoid giving comments, but this time I think I should share my positive experience with more people. From the moment of check-in at the reception and during the following days, I can say that everyone did an incredibly good job and everything was very well organized (from the breakfast to the cleaning of the rooms).
