The stay was very good but really poor housekeeping. Some of the things were quite unbelievable like not clearing out used cups, not replacing shower gels, leaving bottles of cleaning products in the bathroom, etc. The restaurant is good and the service is also very good. Breakfast choices are very good as well. Overall if the housekeeping is improved it would be much nicer experience.

Great endcap of 2-week tour of UK. Spacious, well-appointed suite that was very comfortable. Staff was extremely prompt in answering requests for assistance with safe and car services to airport. Ate dinner at restaurant that was well-prepared and excellent value. Room service breakfast also prompt and delicious. Would stay here again if returning to Oxford.

Room 310 was quite compact, but it contained all that was required. Windows opened. quite quiet. Restaurant was good, service very good; we are not fond of muzak and found it grating especially at breakfast; we understand why you have it at dinner time. Staff helpful. Minor delay at checkout because the itemised restaurant bill was needed to show that the dinner and room charges had been transposed in error, but staff helpful.

Room was too small and cramped to be described as Privelege (Deluxe). We had deliberately upgraded because the website said that there was no parking. So, to reduce packing for train journey, we upgraded to at least get bathrobes in the room which were not supplied. Managed to acquire two when we passed an open linen cupboard. Not pleased at being misled.

The entire stay was great! Really great friendly staff, relaxing lounge and welcoming and the breakfast was very good!! The room was nicely present and comfortable and a lovely size. The only thing I would say is that they need to pay more attention to cleaning the walls - I noticed the room I was in may of had a moth problem at one point as there were a few squashed moths on the wall ( which wasn't great ) Otherwise the all experience was great!

Excellent in almost all respects bar 1. The very small room size for two people on a three day break. 2. Extremely slow service at breakfast on Saturday Sept 21. It took c45 minutes for the cooked breakfast to arrive which was very slow for one made up of standard English breakfast items, even though cooked to order.

Oxford is a busy and vibrant city, with very few rooms in the city centre and we are the smallest and least expensive of the hotel located in the city centre. I am afraid the hotel is over 100 years old, listed and was originally 4 townhouses and now one building, which does restrict the size of some the bedrooms mainly down to age and the structure. We have now moved into our new restaurant - Keepers Kitchen and Bar, which is totally different from before and we are enjoying the new environment along with the challenges of a new layout. The hotel is in an excellent location in Oxford, just off the High Street. The facilities (reception, restaurant) were comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. I found the room itself to be very cramped with little room between the bed and the wall to move around. It was clean and well maintained but it was also very awkward getting luggage to the room as there are steps midway down the corridor.

Nice room, a "privilege" room. Only problem was lack of a dresser. Found it troublesome to always be going to the suitcase.
