The check-in experience was my worst at numerous Ibis stays. However everything else at the hotel was good. The bartender was great and the checkout staff and other staff were very helpful.

After missing my flight, checking for alternative options, and my phone battery dying at the airport, I had to head back to Casablanca to get a hotel for another 2 nights. I knew Sofitel, Novotel and ibis are located next door, so I took a taxi there. I arrived at 5 am in the morning. To keep the additional costs low, I decided to check into ibis (which had availability as I checked at the airport before my cell phone died off). The welcome was no welcome, the staff was rude and rejecting to do anything to help me. I explained the above situation, asked for a room and presented my (Platinum) membership card. After being ignored for a while (other guests were 'served'), I told the receptionist that I still need a room with immediate effect. He told me I have to give him the dates of my request, and I repeated 'from now to Sunday morning. He still insisted in the dates which I was not able to give as there was no calendar and my cell phone battery had died. He again ignored me and 'served' other guests in the same rude way. I was just too tired to deal any longer with a person like that. So I asked to use the business corner to book the room myself directly on the accor homepage. He should please switch on the light because that corner was in darkness. He again ignored my friendly wish. When getting used to the darkness, I realized that another hotel staff person (security?) was sleeping on a sofa next to me… I anyway somehow managed to log in and book one of the better level rooms without any issues besides the bad (almost no) light. As usual, I received the immediate confirmation. Having that completed, I went back to the receptionist for check-in. He again ignored me, which forced me to ask for his manager. Again, no answer, no obvious action for a couple of minutes. I told him I would wait exactly 5 minutes outside for his manager to show up, and went out. I needed some fresh air... Of course, it took more than 10 minutes until the manager from the neighbored Novotel showed up. I patiently explained my situation and the ibis front desk 'service' again and made clear, that I was just looking for a bed now after I wasted around one hour without any success. The manager was very understanding and checked me in within 5 minutes. The rest of the stay was as expected from room quality, cleanliness and comfort perspective. Nothing special, noting too bad. Room: worth to pay a bit more for a better room - everything renovated and better quality. Breakfast: low quality self service, dirty, sticky tables - skip it! General equipment: outdated and overused. Service: terrible. Price: ok only because of the location.

Very good stay, but the ironing board was missing. Please buy some for business travellers so they can adjust their jacket for business mettings.This hotel is very good located and has a good environment.Wish the best for the team.

Staff were rude and unhelpful and condescending. I was in a town i didn't know, on my own and was being harassed and ripped off. When i asked for help booking taxis I was scoffed at on multiple occasions. Also one night they offered a buffet in the dinner which i didn't want - they said "if i looked at it" then they'd let me order a la carte. Nope... I was argued and coerced to take the expensive, lazy, inadequate buffet. They never answered phone and was rude when i tried to order from the empty bar. The phone is my room was switched off so i couldn't make calls even though they had my credit card on file. Absolutely the worst stay I've ever had at an accor. I pick accor because it is basic European and i know that i will receive good service. Not here. Yuck. I cut my stay short. Never this accor again and will reconsider if accor is actually worth it in futurebookings.

I was at Ibis hotel because I like the area. The hotel but has a nice bar area and restaurant room. Breakfast has good sour and sweet choice, more than good enough. The renovated rooms are ok, with good tv set. The bathroom is small but clean, would be perfect with a bathrobe. I suggest to visit the restaurant "Le Dauphin bleu", which is just across the road.

I like IBIS Hotels (Accor) all around the world, It nice time we had at your hotel. Can you do me a favour and check for me please : on 26 Oct 2018 Friday I've left my Cross Fountain Pen on one of the tables in bar area. Can you please check if someone found it and left with hotel administration. I hope it was found by good hearted hotel personnel and was delivered to hotel administration. As I've said above; I like Ibis hotels and accor hotels all around the world, in fact I will be staying in another one in Gaziantep, Turkey in in about two weeks from now. Good service all the time all around. Thank you

« Run-down, low-end hotel »

My reservation on Mövenpick was not honored due to overbooking and I was given this hotel for one night. From arrival to hotel it is clear that the hotel is at its end-of-life. Furniture, desks, lifts, walls, all is worn down and not appealing. Rooms are worn down and terrible, smelly, with mosquitos and flies, even on 12th floor. F.ex. luggage storage room was flooded, main entry door was out of order. Not at all impressed - hotel must be refurbished.

Though our stay was short, we found the overall experience a bit lacking. Our door to enter the room was extremely difficult to open, even for the employee. The hair dryer was broken, the air condition was not working to capacity. We were kept awake by the dogs barking outside our window. The lever on the sink to close the drain was broken, the pull knob was missing, so the metal was sharp. However, the employees treated us well and were attentive to the few needs we required.

The hotel room was clean. Overall some furniture pieces do need refurbishment (they're somewhat old, used, cracky). The breakfast, although offering a wide selection, it was clearly not fresh (nor the juice, nor the waffles).
