Checking in was a nightmare. Busy time and late check out was poorly attended by staff. We were all put on the side with no explanation or apology. My husband speaks Moroccan which means we manage to have a room before other clients. Good for is but not fair to other.

When we got to the room it smelled bad and was quite dirty. The shampoo came in a wet paper package, a card must be inserted in a holder in the room for the electricity to work and the air conditioning did not work. The numbers were missing from the air conditioning and the dial fell off. The breakfast was almost all bread and it was cold as well as a foreign object in my coffee. The manager of the hotel waived the charge for breakfast but when we mentioned the issue with the air conditioning he responded in a disrespectful manner but assured us someone would come to the room. No one ever came to the room and we suffered without air conditioning. Room service took over 45 minutes for one sandwich and we had to pay for it even though this chain of hotels has a 15 minute guarantee. All this despite the fact that the hotel was nearly empty and we witnessed the manager of the hotel on his phone multiple times in the lobby. We also found a very old, dead cockroach in the room. After letting the night hotel staff know about all of the issues she responded with “I was not here”.

Usual good Ibis staff hospitality. Great that hotel has pool. Unfortunately our room was very noisy as it was right next to a main road. The other side of the hotel would have been quieter.

the ibis hotel in Marrakesh was unique, different from other Ibis hotels that I visited management wise, I requested some things from the staff, it was a delay when I was talking to the front desk one of the top managers was around by chance he immediately involves and he takes care of the issue and he impresses me right on the spot . he made my stay great and I feel at home during my visit. definitely when I visited Marrakesh against IBIS Marrakesh palmier will be my home thanks to Mehdi visit the hotel soon

The floor in both the rooms we took were dirty. The shower drain was so slow that it flooded the entire bathroom.
