I stay the first night at room 318 and I left the room for few hours and put on my door the design do not disturb . When I come back someone was entering my room and took my optic sun glasses worth 600 euro . In the floors of this Hotel is no cameras to see who enter the rooms The stuff in the reception was very nice and told me because there is no camera in the floor everyone can enter from outside the room And do what he want of course is not helping me to get my glasses and my all stay there in Hotel was destroy because of that . I only can say just been friends in the hotel but have no Securty in the Hotel for me is very bad .

Nice Hotel, Good Food, but overcharged on final invoice for food included in our package.

Overall the hotel had a pleasant atmosphere, is in a good location and served great food in the Bazzart Restaurant, particularly the Ramadan breakfast buffet in the evening. Staff were generally polite and friendly. The points that let it down was: - Housekeeping often had to be prompted for supplying things like coffee, cups and enough towels etc. - Collusion between some of the hotel staff and the local taxi drivers to over inflate prices when hailing a cab for hotel guests and pocketing some of the fare for themselves. Maybe this is just Moroccan culture of bartering? - The Ramadan evening buffet meal was included as part of our package as a party of 6 adults and 3 children, yet upon checking the bill I found we were overcharged for this.

Overall the hotel and facilities are below European standard and in desperate need of an overall revamp. During our stay, we had a few issues with the room as locks, TV and the water pressure in the bathroom seemed to be low but these did not bother us so much as we were always out. The pool was pleasant enough for the children to play and relax. The only thing we enjoyed during our stay is the Ramadan buffet/dinner which offers many variety of foods but on the downside, I've never seen so many food waste in my life. People are so greedy by taking so much food that they could never consume. Lastly, what I hated the most was when checking out of the hotel en-route to the airport, the hotel staff specifically the young man with the glasses behind the reception desk did his best to mislead us one last time by flagging a taxi outside the hotel and making further corrupt dealings with the driver by trying to charge us an extortionate fare to the airport. Luckily we walked away and got a better taxi fare elsewhere.

Hotel was great it is what i expect from Novotel. One recommendation though in all other Novotels that i have stayed there are always at least 2 bottles of water and coffee for two each day. This location gave one bottle and one coffee for two people in the room. Especially considering where you are you might want to rethink that. I know yes one can go down and purchase additional water, but come on - Really!

It was the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. It was far from Novotel standard. This place should be shut down completely. Frankly speaking, this hotel ruined my entire trip to Marrakesh. Not only the building is old, furniture disgusting and walls dirty but there are coackroaches running around the room. Every morning there were insects on the shower cabin. Doubt this place would pass any healthy checks.

Stayed for two nights in April 2019. Check in straightforward. Room a good size with balcony overlooking pool. Toilet is separate to bathroom which is fairly standard in Morocco however toilet is so small when sitting down your knees are almost touching the door. Not for anyone who is claustrophobic. Had dinner on one night. It was fine despite getting the order mixed up. Breakfast is good. Staff are all very welcoming and pleasant. This hotel is ideal for a short stay and is within walking distance of Jemma El Fna. Plenty of restaurants in the area. Will return at some point.

Staff were friendly and tried to be helpful, but overall wasn't a great Novotel experience. The check in process was very difficult, with only one room being issued at first when we'd reserved two, and then being charged in multiple transactions on credit cards when we'd already paid online and had to have the additional charges reversed later. Food and drink service takes a very long time, though when it comes the food was nice. Recommend going early for breakfast through, as the food is not kept hot and if you go towards the end of the scheduled breakfast time dishes which are meant to be hot are cold. Location is good, beds are comfortable. AC was present but not effective, and even in early May when I was there it was too warm in my room.

Had to ask twice for 2 water bottles, they kept leaving one for us. Also asked for black breakfast tea bags to be substituted instead of the green tea.was told they do not substitute. Strange policy??

Here on short few points regarding our stay at Novotel Marrakech: - we booked a superior double bed room with pool side view - we got to the hotel and at checkin we asked about the availability of a room upgrade (as per Gold Membership policy). The man in charge at the reception was barely speaking English and he changed our room to one that was the same but on the other side, with street view and very very noisy - we changed our room next day, and we got one with the pool side view, but the air conditioning was not working properly and the window opened suddenly and won't close anymore. After 2 tries the technical team of the hotel managed to find a workaround to fix the window - Breakfast was open from 7 o'clock, anyway at 8 o'clock you can't find too many meals, only if you asked for. There was no one who checked if any meal was empty to refill this. - Same breakfast meals every day, nothing changed during our stay and average variety of the meals - last day we tried to order room service but it was closed for 2 hours because they were serving only a buffet. - the hotel need for sure some renovations I overall rated this stay with average as I had the worst service ever in a Novotel Hotel and I stayed in some Novotel Hotels until now around the world.

GOOD: had a reservation for 3 nites only but needed to extend my stay for additional nights over Easter weekend, although they kept saying no rooms were available at the end they were able to accommodate our reservation which was wonderful. Breakfast buffet is plentiful and very good. Hotel Location is great and safe. Hotel Decor is great BAD: Rooms and Doorway needed to be cleaned, had to request my room to be cleaned and vacuumed, so maintenance is ok but not great. Booked a tour through Amir, a hotel employee in the reception, he adviced that it was safer, guaranteed and professional this way, turns out that Amir charged us twice as much for the tour, nor was it in the language requested to be paid in cash and not through our room or cc and it everything but those three things, felt taken advantage off and very disappointing.

Rooms noisy, double glaze windows and doors do not seal the noise if the door does not seal properly. faulty lamp just unplugged and left. Staff reception staff unhelpful. Advertising free mineral water as a selling pitch. which means ask reception if you don’t have a bottle in your room and you can have one.

The service was completely apathetic. The staff did not say hello when we approached the front desk to check-in. When asking if I could get change for 100 into 20s (in order to leave a tip), I was told by both reception and the bar that there was no change, despite the fact that I had just watched someone pay their city tax with cash and that be placed in a stack of cash. The room was covered in scuff marks, and had a plug socket hanging out the wall. The hot breakfast was cold. Completely stone cold. So cold you had to question when it was made.

Poor service, check in took 25 minutes when it was clear that we'd been travelling all day and were exhausted. Room was tired and in need of work and the shower kept switching between cold and scalding hot at 2 minute intervals. Breakfast was disapointing to say the least, with the same dishes laid out day after day and very little to offer beyond cakes and sweets. The pool area was lovely with comfortable loungers, however loud dance music was blasted most of the time rendering it a decidedly unrelaxing experience. Pool was also far too cold to swim in (evidenced by the fact that no guests were in it despite it being 30 plus degrees for the majority of our stay. On our final day when we asked reception to book us a taxi to the airport they outright refused, telling us to go outside the hotel and flag a taxi down ourselves, despite our flight being in the early morning. We chose to stay here due to our previous experience with Novotel's being excellent, the Novotel Marrakech did not live up to this reputation and we were incredibly disapointed with our stay.

We stay in February and had a room from the South. It was very hot in the room and the AC did not work because it needed to be turned form heat to AC for the whole hotel, and February was too early for them to do it. In our room in the evening it was close to 28C. Pleasant and helpful staff.

I can’t associate this hotel with other Novotels where I have stayed before. The room is dusty, but moderately spacious. The furniture is very simple, old and very old. The organization of zones, spaces in the rooms is correct, but everything is somewhat like IKEA’s style. And what is important, the air is stale. The windows overlook the roadway, and this is dust, noise, etc. And all this is called Superior Room with double bed and sofa! ☝️ Breakfast at the hotel is good, the choice of dishes of national and international cuisine is wide - everyone will find what he likes
