First of all, would like to thank all the staff! They re all helpful, courteous and very friendly! The bed was extremely comfy that as soon as i put my head on my pillow i fell asleep!! The food is very tasty and i was totally satisfied by the diversity of open buffet. Thank you Novotel!

The staff was professional and very hospitable. The food was an excellent variety with some new tastes for foreigners like me. The room was also comfortable and clean. The location of the hotel closer to the sea also provided refreshing atmosphere.

It is always pleasant staying at Novotel Zeytinburnu. My only disappointment was that one morning we tried to use the sauna but it was closed. And worse, the receptionist did not know why it was closed.

The personnel couldn't have been more helpful when I was stuck in Istanbul for several days due to a strike at my home airport beyond the control of Turkish Airlines. I enjoyed the hotel facilities so much (free shuttle to the city centre etc) that I am already planning a return trip under happier circumstances!

I and my family stayed here for 3 nights(initially), and we had some issues with the room.it was an executive room but the room was almost out of internet.And my son got bitten by mosquitoes (probably because we opened the window to have some natural air). Hence we asked the receptionist if we could change the room,the lady said no we cant,but the team leader Erhan was so good and empathetic.He offered us the suite(due to no availability of other excutive rooms) knowing that we had to extend our stay for another night.We are so happy and satisfied with all the staff including the restaurant staff like Gokcen(i hope i spelled her name correctly),she was nice to us especially to our kids.And all of the novotel teams. I would like to say,u guys are above expectations and all the best to you all. -sara-

The toilet was so small and it smelled so bad from the sewer that you have to open the window for fresh air. There was lots of Mosquitos in the room and it was a challenge to get a goodnight sleep. I paid for the breakfast for 7 days but stayed only 5 days, they didn’t payed med me back for the 2 Ekstra days. The breakfast was to expensive as I paid 930 lira for 7 days breakfast and it was not 930 lira worth.

« Long awaited renovation »

Becoming a nice "new look" Novotel, after the ground floor upheaval, they have started to upgrade the rooms and are doing a decent job of it with a much fresher look but forgot to clean up the plaster in the bathroom. The breakfast is still excellent and the access still a problem, there is lots of competition in the area and after Ataturk airport closes business will become terribly difficult so a place to watch, the weakest may disappear. For that night the rate was much higher than usual although the place was far from crowded hence the lower quality/price ratio.

The bathroom door knob was faulty. Room carpet was dirty. Air conditioner was not good and not maintaining the required temperature. Bathroom did not have tooth brush, comb, tooth paste, lotion etc.

Excellent service, good location (close to Ataturk Airport), and very good balance between quality and price. I would recommend the breakfast service, although all facilities are just nice. It is quite functional, recently refurbished, so if you don't mind not being that close to downtown, one good option.
