Hotel fine. Food is good. But inconsistent service. As accor member, received a note upon checkin, from hotel manager stating a platter of delicacies would be waiting in my room. No such plate was there. On second day i returned to my room at 4.30pm and it was still not cleaned. Called housekeeping 3 times and had to wait 2 hours to have room made at 6.30pm

Your room service didn't clean my room ( from 8 am till 4 pm ) in spite of 1- i didn't hang any blocking sign 2- after I discovered that room wasn’t cleaned i hanged “ please clean my room “ from 7 pm till 11 pm with no repsonse

Small and not a clean bathroom, disorganized room, staff lost my laundry and then try to convince me that I didn’t give it to them. They indirectly called me a liar when I confirmed that I had provided them with my laundry. Later, they discovered they were wrong. Breakfast area smells like you are inside the kitchen. Reception asked me to go to the lobby with my pajamas to discuss the problem with them instead of coming to my room to discuss my problem.

The check-in took extremely long. The replenishment of tea and coffee by the cleaners needs attention. For example: there was only one Green tea bag. We used it, but it was not replenished by the cleaner. The Housekeeping Supervisor, José, was very friendly and extremely efficient when we brought this to his attention and in meeting our needs. I recommend him for that. The service at The Chocolate lounge, where we had lentil soup and coffee: the waiter didn’t take our order correctly, luckily the senior waiter suspected the might be a problem and came to check our order. We think training might solve the problem? Our breakfast experience was disappointing for a 5 star hotel. We were not offered the A La Carté menu and had the buffet. In our experience the variety products at display were limited for a 5 star hotel, the bread toaster was user unfriendly and I had to put my toast through 4 times to get it toasted. The lady in front of me experienced the same - she toasted 4 pieces - it took ages before I got there. The coffee was really not up to standard. The service of the waiters were slow (the lounge was not very busy) and they were not very attentive. At check out, the people at the desk were very friendly and helpful.

Hotel rooms and facilities were good i.e. Gym etc. however the service levels were very poor, for example one day they did not clean my room and when I asked they told me I have to leave the sign on my door for cleaning but the day before they cleaned my room without a sign on the door????? Café on mezzanine was supposed to close at 11pm when we went to the Café at 10:20PM we were told that it is closed now use room service. If you wanted coffee on the mezzanine sitting area after 11pm you had to go to your room on the 6th floor call room service and ask them to deliver to the mezzanine. Probably the most bizarre thing I have ever seen. Late check out was only by 1 hour so they could clean the rooms because they were full yet I no one went near the room whilst I was there in the hotel lounge up until 3pm. The 5 star rating must be for the building and room decors not the service.

1. I paid for hotel services before check-in, then asked to print an invoice with the cost of accommodation, VAT, municipality tax. To which I was refused from Mohamed. We debated with Muhammad for a long time, after which I asked to change the contact person. A new contact person has printed out the document confirming my payment. 2. In the room I asked to bring an ironing board and iron. My request was completed after an hour with a few reminders. 3. Near my room was air conditioning. The air conditioner vibrated, this noise was brought to the room and did not allow to sleep. The staff promised to send the electrics, but the problem was not fixed.

-old furniture with loose joints. -mattress is uncomfortable. so sleeping is not pleasant -telephones beep at night! -i spent 30 minutes outside the hotel till i managed to enter my car to the hotel because of a wedding (a speacial gate for guests is a must). -out dated furniture and bathroom. -lightings are not enough. -small TV

Positive: The room was spacious and the toilets were neat and clean. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Negative: The breakfast served at the restaurant was definitely not up to the mark. The food quality (including room service) could improve drastically. The entrance to the hotel could have better ambience and lighting.
