The room was nice, clean and quiet however the heating was not going. I tried to ring reception on 4 occasions but nobody answered. Had to go down. They said they would send a heater up and that took 45 minutes to arrive. The food was very cheap quality

Stay was great. Initial guest liaison when we arrived did have very little knowledge of the activities within the area which was very disappointing, but we did eventually find 2 lovely ladies who were locals on our last day.

The only issue I had was when I was called to pick up my meal but it was not ready and I went back to my room to recieve a second call. I also left my phone charger in the room when I left unexpectedly but no-one has called to ask how that could be delt with.

We stayed here for 4 nights and we were very happy with our stay. Very friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms. The Ibis is in a great location close to Lake Rotorua and walking distance to Eat Street and lots of other shops and restaurants

My friends and I had a great time while in Rotorua. Just one thing, the thermostat for the rooms did not seem to work. When the room got too hot and stuffy, there was no air conditioning or ventilation. There was just one heat. Other than that.........rooms were clean and sufficient for our stay.

The staff were fantastic, especially Dave at front desk, did his best to advise of the current issues, mainly the air-con not working, it was extremely warm in the room and there was no escaping it. There was also no WIFI access, until Dave rang as a courtesy to advise that it was up and running. I also ordered a dinner meal the night that I stayed and found that the beef burger (patty) was big, compact and very dry. Breakfast the following morning my work colleague had to go to staff to ask them to top up the food containers (no eggs or hash browns) also the hot food was bordering on cold.

The room was furnished in new modern linen and furniture. Good use of space to achieve a 'desk' /workspace. It was a tight fit with two double/queen beds. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The ability to use Novotel gym was a plus.

The room is good. Bathroom too narrow. We have to wait at Novotel for our transport which is quite far to walk with luggage. Should have pick up point in front of Ibis.

Room was clean and good sirs. Bathroom had a good shower. However reception was small and understaffed. 20 min for check in isn’t acceptable.

Very good stay. Problem with milk sachets being in room fridge and frozen solid as they were place too close to ice box section, housekeeping promptly sent up a new supply. Staff very friendly. I also appreciated the pre arrival phone call asking if I needed any pre arrival info or help.
