To the management, I am writing you to let you know that our stay in Novotel Paris Center Eifle Tour on November 9-11, 2018 in room 912. was very unsatisfactory. First night, we cannot open the safe because of technicality. it took us 4 request calls before the staff responded to our request to unlock the safe. Second night The water leaked from the shower room to the bedroom carpet. When we woke up very early morning we noticed carpet was soaked with water. It was very unsanitary and inconvenient especially we have kid with us. Our stay made us very uncomfortable and unsatisfactory. I can provide pictures if necessary. Thank you, Florencia J O.

On arrival into our room we found that the room had a very bad odour throughout our stay which wasn’t extremely nice. Also our safe which we needed to put our valuables in,was already locked when we came in so we rang reception to ask if they could sort it and they were not very helpful. They said to just leave valuables in an envelope in reception and they will put it in their safe. We thought that would be a hassle daily going to reception to taking our valuables out we needed for the day so we had to carry them everywhere when we went out.

With the sole exception of a mildly rude concierge, the hotel couldn’t have been better. Loved our stay and would definitely stay here again. The hotel is very close to a metro stop and easily within walking distance to the Eiffel Tower and a number of great restaurants.

The overall experience was very good & the reception representatives were effective and worthy. Unfortunately, there were number of incidents that showed poor sanitation, for example: 1. Hairs (not a few) on the towels 2. Used towels that were on the floor and has been recycled to the towel holder 3. The carpet outside the room (on the floor) was dark from dirt. for those reasons, I rated 4.

We were very pleased with our stay. The location is great, especially if you are staying before or after a Uniworld cruise. The hotel is directly across the street from the dock and within a 5 minute walk from the ship.

Beds were comfy and the place was clean. Breakfast was average - surprised that for a French hotel the pastries weren't great. Not enough tea bags in the room. Door next door needed oiling as creaked most of the night. Shower leaked onto the floor and also didn't stay at one temperature - constantly going from boiling hot to freezing cold. Staff were helpful.

The corridors outside the rooms were stained and dirty and the breakfast room was over crowded. We booked a room with a view expected to be able to see the Effiel tower, but we couldn't, which was rather disappointing for my daughter. The bar was nice, and the staff in there were very good.

« Need to work on customer satisfaction. »

The hotel is modern and clean. The staff is not really focused on service. Could be more attentive. Need to make clear with their inhouse restaurant that charges to the room are possible, and take a credit card at check-in so that this works. Iron in the room did not work. Asked for a replacement and was told I had to be in the room to receive it. Asked when I was in the room, and nothing delivered before I had to leave.

Location is hard to find as it is a long walk from RER station. Poor information about hotel direction. Breakfast also considered as low quality and low class. Same breakfast menu on the buffet everyday and poor choices for non pork eater.

Overall it was a good experience. As we traveled by car, parking space was good. Appreciated we could leave the car a couple of hours longer in the garage after our check out. Room was OK. We stayed as a family (2 parents + 2 children). However for the room rate, somewaht bigger room with 2 full sized beds would be appropiate.
