Lovely location in Ypres and very clean rooms. The buffet breakfast at €25 was not the best to be honest, adequate though. Much better value and selection can be had in the square and main street. The main disappointment was the front of house, with the exception of the lady who was probably the manager everyone else just didn't seem to understand the meaning of meet and greet and customer service. The service at the bar was a joke, a sign on the bar stated close at 10.30 but on our first night it closed at 10pm. Every night there was plenty of guests occupying the bar area but never the less it closed generally at 10.30. For a hotel chain such as this surely a night porter who can serve guests staying in the hotel is now common place but obviously not this one, maybe just their competitors. Will definitely not be returning here, the Albion just over the road is a far better option and great customer service. Definitely shop around before booking here. Hopefully the staff will be on a hospitality course very soon.

As a group booking with some older Association members, there is always a dynamic and uncertain element to overseas tours. The hotel were totally accommodating to all our requirements throughout the planning and delivery of our trip to Ypres, even to the last minute arrangement for packed lunches. We couldn’t have asked for better customer service. Thank you

It was in a very good location just around the corner from everything! friendly staff and everything was clean. Breakfast very good my only problem was the pillows ! Lumpy and odd shaped - swapped for spare and still awful. But otherwise a very good stay.

Minor issue this but feel obliged to say that taxi that was kindly contacted for us was very expensive at 25 euro to go to railway station. Driver was friendly but costly!!
