Adequate for a one night stay. Room was clean but basic. Breakfast was poor value, reception area was left not attended.

The hotel location is perfect for moving around Namur centre. It is clean and the rooms are of a good size. Breakfast is quite pricey though; Namur has a wide variety of eateries where one can get a beautiful breakfast for less than $10.00 Customer service at the desk were very courteous and helpful.

« Bad smell in the room this time »

We have been there twice before and had no problem but this time there was a very bad smell in the room (which was not coming from the bathroom). We had to open the window but for a short time only as the noise outside prevented us from leaving it open the whole night. The smell came back in the middle of the night... We had told the reception about this but when the manager came to check the smell he couldn't notice anything since we had opened the window and when the smell came back in the middle of the night, we didn't feel like calling him back so late. We were just tired and wanted to sleep. So we opened the window again...

« Does exactly what it says on the tin »

This was a one-night stay on the way to Austria. We arrived late, got a parking space in the underground car park and got to our rooms within 5 minutes of arrival. The room was modern and clean with exactly what we needed, standard Ibis stuff. I've deducted one star for two very minor issues: it was warm for early April and the aircon cooling wasn't available which meant that the room was a little warm. So we opened a window, and were at the back of the hotel so not too noisy. The other was the price of the breakfast which was over £12. This seemed a little expensive compared to other, recent Ibis stays elsewhere.

All good, save for a bit of an unpleasant odour in the corridor near the room and then on entering the room, almost a lingering whiff of sewage. Staff very nice, and all pre-requests (e.g. highest floor, not near elevator) fulfilled without issue.

« Comfortable hotel with nice rooms »

Located 10 minutes walk from the rail station and city centre, the hotel staff are welcoming. Inside are good sized rooms that are equiped with comfortable bed. The soundproofing was good and I slept well. The breakfast includes hot and cold fare that was well received.

« Satisfied but ! »

Ok, but surprised to not find a refrigerator, a kettle with coffee and tea and courtesy drinking water in the room. Also the first time I have to pay parking fees in an Accor hotel (never in more than 15 years). Got a good rate for long stay, but will not see anything on my fidelity card (at least the number of nights, for the points I can understand). A little bit disappointed since I was expecting to recover my Platinum member status, and will even probably lose the Gold status this year !

« normal ibis »

the hotel was very nice and in a good location. staff were very nice and helpful. we stayed for two nights and each night your restaurant but you keep running out of food. the room we had 507 was very large and comfy but i don't think it was cleaned very well as there was plenty of dust every where and there was also two spiders webb. as we only wanted a two night stay we kept quiet about it but we have been to a lot cleaner ibis hotels.

Good check in with decent staff. Night shift staff with no idea how to attend costumers. Check out..... Better not to talk about. Needing a refresh course in manners and how to answer to a client. Not use to this behaviour in Ibis family

« Normal high standard you would expect from Ibis »

We chose this one for it's proximity to the centre, and also because you always know what you will get with Ibis hotels. This one certainly didn't disappoint - as always, the staff could not be more freindly and helpful, and the room and bathroom were comfortable and clean, which is all you can ask for. It is little more than a 5 minute walk from Namur rail station, and equally close to the city centre and also the Meuse river, so excellent for exploring this historic city. Very good value for money, and the room was also nice and light as well, with a bit of a view facing away from the road outside. Being at the back of the hotel also gaurentees a quiet night's sleep. The hotel also has a very pleasant bar area where you can enjoy a drink before retiring or on arrival. The only thing you don't get is a kettle for making a coffee in your room first thing in the morning, but that does seem to be common to all the Ibis's we've stayed at in Belgium. Would definitely recommend this one, and would book it again if returning to Namur in the future.
