« Better then ever »

It was the first time since a long time that I had a perfect stay in that hotel. The only negative experience was that the coffee machine was not working. I tried to make a coffee and the coffee itself was only dripping out of the machine... it was less than an espresso in my cup. The machine is either defect or has to be decalcified.

« I am not very satisfied because of the two issues! »

I will describe only two cases. I did not have the PIN Code of the AMEX credit card. Therefore I was not allowed to pay with the AMEX credit card. Paying with a credit card without using a PIN-Code is should not be an issue. Because not every Taxi driver has a credit card reader. The Internet was very slow compared to my other stays and I really would like to ask for more speed.

Hotel staffs whom I met were always kind to me and they were able to listen my requests and try to realize perfectly. Even though I might be one of regular guest in past, numbers of staying at that hotel recently became much leass than before, however, hotel staffs tried to satisfy several my requests sincerely without changing their attitudes. Therefore I really appreciated them. With that reason, I would like to score highly for my stay this time honestly.

« Ncie hotel, cheering staff except one :-) »

Nice hotel, except a lady on front desk. On telling to cance my booking for the upcoming week I was told by that front desk lady, to drop a mail for the same. I wonder isnt it her job profile. As a previlage customer am I suppose to waste my time in writing emails when i am anyway at the hotel reception? This was bit awkward. Other staffs are nice and pleasant with always a smile on the face. And just due to one reception lady i am not going to stop staying in this hotel where i am staying as previlage guest for the last 5 months, and will be staying may be till the end of next year.

good customer service at reception and restaurant/bar area. Room was clean. The only point is that in the last day I did not get any big towels for shower - I used the small one from the sink. Also the cofee cup I used in the first day was not washed and left on the table for 2 days.

WiFi not working (no bandwidth), insufficient cleaning of toilet, weak aircon, staff at breakfast a complete disaster - unfriendly, insensitive to business discussions. it is very tiring to visit a hotel where it seems that everyone is in the first few weeks of the job

First the negatives. My number one complaint would be the spotty, inconsistent, slow Internet service, especially when one is paying a daily rate FOR Internet service. For a four-star business hotel, this is inexcusable. My other negative would be the lack of food options on the weekend. The (overpriced) 17€ breakfast was always available. (The food was excellent, just not worth 17€, especially if one came later on a weekend, when there was little choice left at the buffet. As well, it is very difficult to justify 17€ for breakfast on an expense report!) The restaurant closed on Friday and didn't reopen until late Sunday; this left a business traveller who arrived on the weekend, or needed to stay over a weekend with a distinct lack of food options, short of ordering fast food (a challenge if Deutsch is not one's first language), grabbing a train downtown or walking about 10 minutes into Eschborn City Centre. If you aren't familiar with Frankfurt, this is intimidating to say the least. Having someplace in the hotel where one could, at least, pick up some cookies, or gum, or cut vegetables....some option outside of the salty snack food in the room when the restaurant is closed...would be a great improvement. The positives? The staff. Every single member of the staff. From the breakfast persons, who always allowed me to grab a cappuccino and a croissant and charged my appropriately, to the front desk staff who got my room switched so I didn't sleep in a twin bed for three weeks, helped me learn a multitude of new words, loaned me an umbrella and even helped me order food, to the "bar" personnel, who got to the point they knew me by name (or at least room number!) and were always willing to help, to the housekeeping staff who would stock some extra coffee in the room for me on request, always made sure my room was made up, helped me figure out the unfamiliar taps in the shower/tub area....the staff is second to none! Without the staff, it would have been a frustrating experience. With the staff, it made it worthwhile. If the Mercure Eschborn Sued has something that makes it "above normal", it is the helpful, courteous, charming and warm staff. I stayed three weeks at your hotel and felt as if I as leaving some good friends behind when I left.

Price increased without being advised beforehand (no consideration of guest status - regular guest for over one year) No Special consideration for regular guests. sticking to Standard policy, no exceptions Poor Internet connectivity in rooms General lack of concern towards regular guests, does not encourage People to return and I have therefore sought alternative accommodation for the following weeks

« its okay, I have a basic room can never get an upgrade. when I ask they say they want to sell rooms, I stay 3 nights a week every week. A coffee machine would be nice in my room but need upgrade for this . »

its ok, if you get a room away from the back of hotel otherwise you are woken 05:30am by the deliveries and the lorry noise with the engine running for 1 hr.
