I enjoyed my stay at the Novotel Atlantis Shanghai. The room was nice, everything was clean and as expected. As a European, I enjoyed trying out the different foods at breakfast time (steamed buns, dumplings, noodles etc), while still being able to access the things that I am used to as well. Although I intended to I didn't use the pool or the fitness suite and I didn't use the restaurants, choosing to go out in the evenings instead. Check in and check out was smooth and efficient.

it was fine but the executive lounge was closed which was disappointing. Overall the service was good but as is normally the case in china the communication with some of the Chinese was poor.

I have stayed at this hotel many times and always have a similar experience. Loaction is good if you are wanting to use the Metro. Rooms and facilities are average for this type of hotel. Breakfast is very good with plenty of room and choices.

All the staff in this hotel was good, but the air conditioning in the room was too hot and the control panel could not work when I wanted to change temperature.

I was only there one night; we had been in another province, and stayed at this Novotel one night, then went to Pudong airport in the morning. Staff was professional, room was clean (nothing fancy), bed was comfortable, breakfast buffet had some good Western-type items. The rotating restaurant on the top floor is only okay.

Booked a hotel on the net, check-in manager's attitude is very good, efficiency is also very quick, to the room and found that the scenery is very beautiful, but the bathtub with a shower, I thought it was disabled rooms, call the front desk, a very unfriendly attitude, mood is very poor, she said that if change rooms, there is no such a good landscape, I am not very satisfied, even disappointed.

Great hotel and friendly, efficient staff. Location is a 20-30 minute walk to the Pearl TV Tower and the various shops there, and a 10 min walk to the metro station. View from the rooms overlooking the river is fabulous, tho. Like a personal light show at night.
