My stay at the Novotel Szeged was a really good experience. The room was amazing and clean, the staff were super friendly and made me feel very welcome. The food was great and my waiter I had every night, Adam, was fantastic at catering for my dietry needs and making sure I was looked after. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had a junior suite, which was attractively, if not 'sumptuously', laid out and furnished. We thought it was a well designed room, with well-functioning air conditioning, good layout for the bathroom and dressing areas, a compact (i.e. a bit small) but very adequate bedroom. Very good value for the money.

Stuff is excellent and helpful (not in the restaurant tho), beds are comfortble, view is nice. Bathroom is way too small, no sitting possibility on the balcony, breakfast and dinner both poor choice of food and drinks, coffee machine gives awful coffee in the mornings. Resaurant staff wasn’t professional, and didn’t pay attention to relod the buffet neither at brrakfast, nor dinner.

This was our first visit to the city of Szeged and I requested a room with a nice view of the city. My request was honored. Thank you very much! Also, my Le Club status was recognized and I received a drink voucher at check-in. The entire staff at the reception, in the bar and the housekeeping were very friendly and accomodating. The room was clean and fresh. I have only positive memories from our stay!

Novotel Szeged and its professional staff do everything to make you feel comfortable. A modern setting in a traditional city that offers you everything you need: nice rooms with a view, not too big, but with the necessary amenities: balcony, well working WiFi, laptop safe, international tv channels. It's calm, even the cleaning staff pays attention not to wake you up while working in the alley or in neighbouring rooms. The staff is multilingual (Hungarian, English, some of them speak also German and other languages, even Romanian) and is very helpful but still discrete. They are there, when you need them. Overall impression: feels like home!

I mainly stayed just for nights, daytime I was out. Reception was friendly and helpful. Only matter was the wifi. Inspite of the instruction manual it wasn`t possible to connect. That was annoying. The breakfast was the best awesome experience. Big range of choice and I loved the hand/farm made, not industrial products of kolbasz, szalami, honey, etc. I found every type of food (diary, meat, vegetarian, fruits). I travel the world and stayed at Hiltons, Mariotts, Holiday Inns, so every type and level of hotels, but the breakfast of Novotel Szeged was way too much the best. Maybe just one suggestions, but not a critic or any bad: The scrambled eggs at the end of the tray became watery, soaked through and the tejbegriz is semolina I English. Though the present translation is also good.

It was a wunderfull trip. We booked a junior suit, the view from the 7th floor was amazing. The breakfast was very excellent. The Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel close to the city center. Szeged is a beautiful city.

Great hotel, lovely view, friendly staff, good food. Very nice corner for kid’s entertainment. They even got small presents on arrival. Nice park nearby. On the river bank. Walking distance to the center of the town. We will definitely visit again.

The staff were friendly and very helpful, we stayed on a Sunday and Monday night, the problems that I had was the bed - extremely uncomfortable with someone that has a back problem also I couldn't eat breakfast I tried the boil egg that was stone cold and brown so couldn't eat that and then I tried the fruit which was brown. To be honest myself and my colleague were the only ones in the for breakfast and then later joined by 3 others surely you could have provided a breakfast for so few people. Also a toaster might have helped I could have then had toast and jam.
