I was so impressed by friendliness of all staffs which made our stay so pleasant. The facility was so beautiful and location was good for access to main attractions. The only problem was terrible noise from the room next door when we stayed at room # 238. I believe there should be more robust soundproof system.

We really enjoyed it and found the staff and facilities very good. I would suggest that bar opens up before 5pm as the lounge is small and can get crowded and on a weekend away it's nice to have a drink in the bar after lunch. We had one disappointing experience but it wasn't the hotels fault. My wife booked a hair appointment via the concierge but when she showed up the saloon was closed. The saloon should not have taken the booking. It was Toni & Guy.

We only stayed one night, but wished we could have stayed longer. At check-in, we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to one of the new luxury suites. It was large, roomy and quiet with a view of the courtyard. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had a soaking tub and rain shower. The hair dryer provided in the room was also a Dyson...something I've been wanting to try! Everything in the room was top-notch! The staff was professional, friendly and very knowledgeable of the property's unique history. And the location was convenient to all we wanted to see and do. Overall, our short stay couldn't have been more perfect!

Very good EXCEPT couldn’t figure out the in-room lighting and no one explained during check in process. Would never have figured out need to place ‘key’ in entry area to turn on lights etc.

Your restaurants have wonderful food. Your bartender Bart is an exceptional man in personality and his skills of course. The hotel is lovely, as is the courtyard. I was disappointed in the size of the room because of the fact that being with a friend and sharing a room where two single beds are pushed together was not something that made me happy. I know that the U.S. and Europe are a bit different when it comes to hotel rooms but had I known that I would practically be sleeping with my friend, I may have opted for my own room.

Great location, nice room but no turn down service in suite? Had a nice first day where my room was straightened up with a turn down service providing new water, towels and a couple of cookies. No service the rest of my 4 day stay. Very strange. Also having hosted an event at the hotel, the conference room AV was poor quality and the staff was not very helpful or friendly. Have to say that the restaurant and bar staff was outstanding and very accommodating.

Stay was very nice. Great room and very nice amenities. However, breakfast in the restaurant very problematic. The restaurant was terribly understaffed. It meant people were seated, but often it took at least 10 minutes for a server to arrive. At one point, I saw doormen clearing tables as there was no one else to clean the tables (the available restaurant staff running from table to table trying to take orders). Delivery of orders was also a problem. We waited at least 10 minutes for a cappuccino to be delivered to our table. The first words from the waitstaff to customers was to apologize for the wait that customers had to endure when they arrived and after they placed their order. While one would expect this from lesser hotels, this is supposed to be one of the premier Accor hotels in Amsterdam and it reflects very badly on the restaurant and the hotel when the service is so problematic (to be clear in this instance, owing to management decisions, not the staff themselves).
