Booked last minute and was surprised to find this hotel to be in a great central location with a plentiful choice of restaurants close at hand. Room was spacious and clean. Great secure valet parking. The hotel was very peaceful with a nice relaxing bar area with all of the hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Would not hesitate in choosing this hotel again.

Regarding the lack of water bottles provided in your room bottle, we place re-fillable water jugs in each room with a card advising you that these can be filled at the Lobby Bar. There is a complimentary filtered water tap on the bar (easily accessible to guests) which offers a choice between still and sparkling water. This is to complement our sustainable efforts in reducing single use plastics and I hope this works for you in the future. Thanks again for your kind comments and your loyalty to Accor. The service we received was exceptional, beginning even before our trip started. We had a change to our flights, and I had called to notify the hotel that we would be arriving in the early hours of the morning (rather than the evening prior) and the person I spoke to was so polite and lovely, making a not on our booking so that the hotel staff would know we were arriving later than expected. We had a wonderful stay, beginning from our arrival at 4AM, when we were greeted extremely pleasantly, and assisted quickly and efficiently after experiencing nothing but trouble with delayed flights and difficulties around collecting our rental car. Our stay was for 6 nights and we could not have been happier with the service and accommodation. The room was very pleasant, and larger than I expected. Every staff member we dealt with was polite and cheerful. Our rental car was kept in valet parking for the duration of our stay and brought out for us quickly each time we requested it. We only had one issue during our stay, which was that I had ordered but not received, a glass of wine at dinner one evening. When we reviewed and questioned our bill before signing it to the room, the cost for this was immediately removed and the staff were very apologetic for the oversight. The hotel is well located and within walking distance of some wonderful restaurants and cafes. It's also easy to navigate in and out via car, which made day trips very easy to access. We would definitely recommend the Novotel Hamilton Tainui to anyone looking to stay in Hamilton.
