I was charged an extra night due to early check in which was not communicated to me at check in. I had originally planned to arrive thursday, then changed the reservation to friday. I ended up paying dor thursday night as well as I was told this is linked to my early check in. If I would have know. I would have waited.

« experience was good, better then in past years. »

experience was good overall, however we had some issues with transportation arrangement when we left. We booked a car service earlier in the day and when we came to lobby at 7PM for pick up there was no car and no one seemed to know what was going on. They had to call a taxi several times before one came (almost 30 minutes after arranged pick up time). We asked if they accepted amex and both hotel person and taxi said yes. However, got to the airport and he would not accept. We had to go into the airport and get cash to pay the driver. It was completely unnecessary. I think what bother me the most is that no one cared, there were NO apologies for this incident which became a big inconvience.

One of the best hotels in Sao Paulo with very friendly staff and good service orientation.Location is good and the rooms are decent (although need some little maintenance).Ground floor is nicely set and has an open atmosphere.An annoyance was found in the non-respect of the non-disturb button by the minibar ladies (happened several times).

Hotel was good, including staff clean rooms, good lobby and service orientation. There was on every weird behavior related to minibar refilling that should really be resolved. While staying, 3 times a lady (only speaking Portuguese) wanted to enter the room to check minibar (which isnt used, by the way) despite using the not disturb button next to the door. Unfortunately, it was considered rather intrusive, especially since they do not seem to understand that they should respect the do not disturb.

Air conditioning was not working properly. Heat unpleasant in common areas such as restaurant and bar. Air conditioning in the room was working but not properly - it didn't cool quickly / enough. Heat in corridors was very unpleasant. Other than that everything was fine.

The room was very nicely decorated and comfortable. The only thing missing was an iron and iron board in the room which I needed to ask for at the front desk. The breakfast is delicious but missing a few more vegan options. I would appreciate the option to have a cappuccino with soy or almond milk. Also, I really appreciate the gym.

The hotel facilities and the staff are great!!!!!!!! Ruana at the bar provided excellent service and made me feel very welcome! All staff were very helpful. However the food was very below expectations. Example, was unable to eat the salad as the flavor was just not good, first time ever I sent a salad back. Ordered a Filet Mignon and ordered it Med rare, was served extra, extra well-done. At breakfast the eggs were like soup, and the bacon was just crumbles of pieces.

Elevators in maintance, took ages to get to the room from the main floor. The room was very clean and tidy and support team were attentive and receptive. Due to a high number of aircraft companies crew the hotel was too crowded and breakfast could not be replaced as it was consumed
