The bed was not comfortable, the pillows were not either. That was my only issue the hotel cleanliness, friendly staff and location is fantastic. Check in and out was quick and easy.

« Parking difficult but Tour of Germany was staying, so... »

We liked the hotel and breakfast but didn't use any other amenities. Parking was difficult- outside were a lot of buses and cycling support cars and the garage was full but we're cycling fans so it was ok! Hotel and breakfast were great, as you would expect!

« Room mix-up! »

Unfortunately, the person checking me in wrote the wrong room number on the key card. As I kept trying the key in the door (which obviously wouldn't work), the occupant opened the door from the inside, giving me a bit of a shock (as they were probably shocked also). I showed them what was written on my card, and apologised saying I would return to reception. I was offered a complimentary drink from the bar by way of an apology.

Despite contacting your staff for details of how to get to the parking area using satnav they failed to say that several roads in the area are shut. A warning would have been thoughtful. On arriving the signage was extremely poor for parking and finding the hotel. We ended up in the Novotel apartment reception. The room!! The carpet was stained and meant we didn’t like to walk bare footed. The lamp shade had dirty stains on it. Considering we had booked for 3 people you had only provided sufficient cups for 2. The provision of coffee and tea was limited - couldn’t have a second drink. Shower gel etc was not enough for 3 people. Overall, we were extremely disappointed and would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone. I look forward to your reply
