We had booked Ibis because of location adjoining the Ternary. We found it to be closed. So we went to the Ibis restaurant. The restaurant was in a turmoil due to lack of staff. Two girls were taking orders serving drinks, ordering meals, delivering meals. There was a great line of about 15-20 couples waiting to order. As meals were ready one of the girls would come out of the kitchen. with a trolley - and was actually running with the trolley of meals, as they just could not keep up! We received the wrong order, but didn't even have the chance to say so.

Had a room looking towards the CDB which provided an amazing view. Room ventilation was very noisy and couldn’t be turned off. Bar service at happy hour was a joke. A line 8 people long and they served orders from the App before people who had been waiting. Breakfast was ok but buffet items were warm rather than hot. The wifi on the outside seating area wasn’t great. I would stay again because of the location but probably wouldn’t use any of the hotels ammenities or eat there.

This hotel was booked by our travel agent. Can not recommend it at all. What we didn't realise that accommodation was at a premium in Sydney at this time because of the Women's football world cup. Rooms were clean but very dated. Beds were comfortable but we had to move three times in our week long stay. Noisy air conditioning, and two times due to very noisy guests in neighbouring rooms, partying all night. The one thing going for this hotel is great location.
