I had an experience at Novotel Melbourne 270 Collins Street and I'd like to share my feedback about this hotel. Firstly, I found that the hotel is a bit dated compared to some other hotels in Melbourne. The overall feel is that the interior and facilities could use some updating to meet modern standards. Another issue I encountered was the check-in process being quite time-consuming. It seems that this process was not well-organized and efficient. The front desk staff also seemed unprepared for guests arriving, making the check-in process slower than necessary. Another regrettable point is that I faced an issue with payment. The staff charged my credit card twice, which required me to sort out this issue after checking out. This incident caused some inconvenience, and I hope the hotel will have a more accurate payment system to avoid such occurrences in the future. The afternoon reception and duty staff may require additional training to enhance their skills and efficiency. This could include training in customer service, check-in procedures, problem-solving, and payment processing. Providing targeted training can help improve their performance and ensure smoother operations during peak hours. By investing in training and development, the hotel can elevate the overall guest experience and address any issues encountered during check-in or other interactions with guests. Overall, Novotel Melbourne 270 Collins Street is a conveniently located hotel with potential but needs improvement in updating its physical facilities and refining operational procedures to enhance the guest experience. I hope that this feedback will be used to enhance the hotel's service quality in the future.

I.booked a "junior suite"but besides an extra sofa bed (which led to.delayed check in) nothing was kid friendly. Housekeeping never answers, room cleaning.is.stictly making.beds (didnt.even.refill water bottles or tidy up room, toothpaste lasts you one day so better not book more than a day, had to request slippers and towels extra despite them.knowing it's for 4, and the list goes on. Best find a well managed property nearby.

Amazing breakfast, wonderful staff, great cocktails, comfy bed - room was a bit too warm overnight even with aircon, and self parking was a bit confusing beause not enough signage.

Pretty good. But we're charged for drinks when we had free tickets. Did send emails but got no reply Asked for extra tea bags and didn't get them. We were there for 2 nights. The breakfast was very good. Nice size room.
