« Basic Rooms but nice bar and breakfast »

Good location, good service and great that pets are allowed too. Rooms were very basic but clean. Parking was a bit stressful with a bigger car because the garage was so cramped.

« Small room and not what we booked »

We were very dissatisfied with our stay. We booked 2 chocolate themed rooms and only got one. When we complained we were told that there is only one, this did not show on our booking. The chocolate themed room itself was a disappointment to the friends that did stay in it, empty box of chocolate, some soap and horrible posters on the walls. Our room was so tiny that when I turned over in bed at night I smashed my knee against the wall. It is a budget hotel but not that cheap that we had to put up with such a tiny room. The shower room was also so small you could hardly turn around in it. Definately not worth the money and would not go back. Staff were ok but not really interested in the fact we did not get the room we booked.

« Poor sound isolation. »

The service at the reception and stuff were very polite and helpful. The breakfast was great. What i didn't like was the sound isolation of the rooms. We could hear everything from the other rooms especially when the people from the room above us came back at night and with their sounds they woke us up at 2 in the morning. Its not their fault it was clearly the isolation. Additionally we could hear the vacuum cleaner's sound that woke us up earlier in the morning and the sound from the street(mainly pedestrians) we could hear them talking when we went to sleep. In our room 316 there was a sound from a pipe or something that was annoying and never stopped. The curtains do not close well and there was too much light in the morning. I understand that Ibis is more budget friendly but for the price i would expect better isolation so we could relax.

« Nice hotel with G. staff, but problems with water temperature. »

Everything about the hotel was very nice except for the water temperature in the shower. It would fluctuate from hot to cold every couple of minutes, and, when it got hot, it would almost be scalding hot.

« A good hotel in a central location »

Have stayed here before. Desk staff very helpful. Ideal for the centre and right on the tram route. Rooms very comfortable but compact. Only issue is with car parking .garage is extremely tight and spaces are not wide enough for modern cars.

« Good but really small... »

The room was clean and efficient, but oh so tiny. We laughed and we will we have to go out into the hallway to turn round... It did not stop us from enjoying our stay though. the breakfast was also very enjoyable and nicely priced.

The Staff were very helpful and couldn't be faulted, breakfast was superb overall a very nice stay. The only moan is that the building was too hot especially sitting in the bar area. Not just for me but our group.
