One of the best city-hotels, I have stayed at. Very quiet situation, although only a few meters away from Place de la Concorde. The service from all staff in top, and the facilities of the hotel very nice. Certainly a hotel I would like to visit again.

Upon check in we were disappointed we did not get the room with the balcony on the side walk cafe facing a view of Paris street our travel agent booked our accommodation 9 months in advance and mention a balcony for us during our stay but instead we were placed in the room with a inside view of windows and windows and looking down at the glass room of foyer We put a a do not disturb sign on the door and the cleaning maid knocks and still enters that was not right and uncomfortable. Overall good. We were 3 persons (a couple + an 8 year old girl) in room 105. However the House Keeping frequently forgot to leave 3 towels, so nearly every late afternoon we had to ask for one extra towel. The cupboards were a little tired and their sliding doors not very easy to move... But the Sofitel is always our preferred choice to stay at in multiples destinations

We have now stayed at the Sofitel Faubourg on two occasions and absolutely love the hotel. The service is first class and they are attentive and kind. Everyone speaks English and they are always happy to help even when you're calling from outside the hotel for assistance. I absolutely love this hotel and especially the rooms facing the courtyard. But while the rooms are lovely, the beds comfortable and the location superb, but the service is what keeps us coming back!

We called for water everyday. We were 4 people and if water was left it was only 2 bottles. Shower spout, toilet paper holder were broken. Drapes were off rings and no one bothered to ever fix. Room lights didn't work well. Called about broken items to housekeeping. Never fixed. Hotel needs updating and repairs to be addressed. As for breakfast- the staff was great first few days, then they went on vacation and new staff didn't understand English. Some items like yogurt need to be replaced with Greek yogurt. Fruit quality needs to be better. Too many strange Chinese items that cater to Chinese only. This was our fourth time staying at the hotel.

Our room was not ready until 4:40 pm, even though check in is 3:00 pm. There was broken glass in the bathroom. The adjoining door in our room made the noise level unacceptable (we could heard our neighbors’ conversations). The experience would be terrible, except that the staff was excellent—welcoming and responsive.

Our stay was wonderful. We had 6 nights in an Opera Suite and were delighted with the quality and design of the room. The staff in all departments were very polite, helpful and efficient. The hotel condition remains very good and equal to three years before (our last visit)

We have always stayed at Sofitel whenever we visit Paris. Conveniently located and beautiful rooms. People are generally friendly, but sometimes we could feel some tension at the reception where it should not be. Not all guests same or demanding. Breakfast was fine but could do more variety or interchange daily for some items. Nevertheless rooms are pristine and look forward to visit you again in the future.

We had an interesting experience at the Sofitel ranging from bad to good. For a start despite having our reservation changed to start a day early and having confirmation sent to our emails, we were told that we were not due to check in on the day. This took a while to sort out and then were told no early checkin. we were at the hotel at 12 noon. Having decided to eat at the restaurant which was indeed very good we were still told that the room will only be available at 15:00. The queue each time to speak to someone on reception was ridiculous to say the least. The rooms themselves are ok. We booked the Collection suite at quite a high day rate and I have to say the rooms do not look anything like they do in the picures. I have definitely stayed at better hotels for similar prices. There was a very nice gesture to leave us a bottle of champagne and flowers as it was our anniversary. The room itself was adequate till we found a large stain on teh carpet near the table. We stayed in room 138 if you really need to know. i would not expect this from a hotel that prides itself as first class. Apart from that the location was great and as central as you can get. But there are plenty more hotels very close to this location at similar rates. So would i stay again at the Sofitel le fauborg, I have to say no.
