Excellent "front-desk" staff (especially manager lady from Bulgaria), great hotel complex (I stayed in building 2), great in/outside bar area (most staff helpful). Breakfast was a treat (....the bacon, hmmm). generally the staff were always happy (great you each time) and helpful (the concierge, especially). No negatives.

The staff was really helpful and nice. The checkin process was fast. The breakfast is tasty and there is a big selection to choose from. The room is nice and cosy.

nothing special, positiv point the Team do their best to avoid stress, I mean the process from check in till chkec out is smooth I noticed an improvement regarding the breakfast welcome they told me Hello and when I requested coffee they gave coffee instead of showing the coffee machine ... But still nothing has been done to entertain clients at the evenings or I cannot see it ? breakfast choice can be improved , it s always the same ... I went to the sauna , and only one ligth was on, quite stressful and anxious in the dark or did not know where the swithc was . Also I would like an Alarm button in the sauna in case I feel bad ... thanks

« Bad internet experience, unfriendly breakfast staff »

Lots of things are good and the staff and the reception is very friendly. But: The internet you offer is a nightmare and not worth any money. I only use my mobile phone for internet. You have to regularly type in your username and password - even when you have a 7 day pass you have to do it several times a day. The connection is slow and unstable. Wake up! This is 2018. Every mobile phone has better internet connection than any of your Mercure hotels. You really need to improve. My whole company is laughing about it. Second, some (not all) of your breakfast staff is unfriendly. They start to close parts of the breakfast area, asking people to choose another table. It even happened to me that they were cleaning the table while I was sitting there! The welcome gift is - compared on how much you advertise it - a joke. A milky way or a tiny bag of gummy bears is really nothing worth advertising. It's still nice gesture but compared on what big part it is in your loyalty program ads, it's a joke.

Easy booking by website, checkin by email, good reception at the welcome desk, nice room, nice breakfast. Three minor points: 1) Room 1105 still had the painters mask tape around the airconditioning from the last paint job 2) Key card was erased a couple of times due to magnet-containing phone sleeve (booklet style phone sleeve containing phone and bank cards etc). That was resolved by storing the key card separate from the phone 3) Breakfast room was very busy (too small?) on Thursday morning

1.check in in other building 2.very poor fitness room 3.during first night somebody entered my room - reception provide this people another key as they thought its FREE ROOM - its nightmare! 4.no breakfast in second (my) building in second day - a lot of people was waiting for even coffe 5.no empathy at reception I will definitelly not recommend this hotel to stay!

« Good value for the price »

Room was clean and nice. Instead of two individual beds in a single room a larger bed would have been nice. Restaurant with possibility to sit outside is nice. Other facilties of the hotel have not been used. Breakfast is ok but quite busy in the morning (not much space). For the classification of the hotel the service at breakfast is not more than usual standard.

« 4 stars hotel for what ? »

I fly to Frankfurt almost once a month, why I choose your hotel , just because it s near to my office . A part from that I have been using your service since a year now, and I can see the low but surely getting lower in service quality. My last trip, first reception desk I guess she behaved like a chief , however If I appreciate the assistants at the desk I don t feel as professional that someone among the staff especially if It s a chief a manager I suppose was dressed with casual dress... Breakfast, Is the worst point expecially in the other building, I was there 3 times, and I can report some bugs in the bread basket... I hate that room more because of the "underground" feeling, despite the lunch room has a clear charm, to take a breakfast doesn t look like the quality I would like to feel in a 4 stars hotel. Breakfast last week, fortunetly I was assigned to the "Domizil" I prefer much more the atmosphere, however, I did not appreciate the new service , the table set first not handy to open a milk pot, the lack of table protection make the table dirty, no more coffee on the table as it used to be with milk I don t like waiting in the queue for , the lack of personal is obvious, they look like they suffer more than they are happy to work , not a welcome when I came in, just room number or the personne is absent from her desk … food : sausages are not enough baked, (I spent a whole week so dont tell me it s just happened)…. I arrived in the drink area, no more water, I asked a waiter .. he laughed at me "ahahhahah" what does it mean ? business trip we want to forget about the office, we came to the lunch room for a short and efficient no time to loose wait for water or... searching a coffee or a table set !!!! always challenging to find a place to eat, hire some personal it might help Also no entertainment at the hotel or It s really well hidden to the guests... bar ? nothing else to do than drinking… boring... be imaginative even some events from time to time... it s not a big deal , I , ok to pay extra for that where is the zakusi gone ? Positive point I feel in safety in the hotel, it s cleaned even some repairs are probably planned (corridor etc) , room are made properly , reception desk assistants friendly and professional I mean I like when the process it s clear and well processed all questions answered always with good manner, I would appreciate more diversity among the proposed food at breakfast , some events more often even some merchandising , some life …
