This is our hotel of choice in Sydney. Provides excellent accommodation and service, is centrally situated for access to many of Sydney's attractions,restaurants and public transport. We upgraded to a harbour view room which presented a fine view of Sydney and Darling Harbour including fireworks on the harbour. The room, 622, design was a little quirky with the bathroom being particularly different. Still a comfortable and clean room.

Staff were fantastic. The water pressure in the shower is terrible. We had to do 30 laps of the shower just to get wet. Looked forward to getting home to have a proper shower.

We had a fantastic stay at Novotel from check in to checkout. The concierge had cute little activity bags for the children! Sometimes I feel like those little touches just help the guest to feel a bit special! the hotel seems to be greatly renovated since my last visit it looks beautiful and modern! Novotel Sydney is in a great location making our vivid Sydney experience very convenient we had a wonderful weekend away and most of this credit probably goes to Novotel!!!!

IT was very busy being a long weekend. The staff were very polite and friendly. But i was frustrated waiting over 20minutes for a lift and because we waited so long there was too many people for 1 lift. Other than that the experience was good

On the 11/06/2019 booked and paid in full for a "EXECUTIVE ROOM, 2 DOUBLE SIZE BEDS, DARLING HARBOUR VIEW." After receiving confirmation on email the same day was offered: "Novotel Sydney on Darling Harbour eStandby Upgrade® Program" I Opted in and was happy to pay the extra $30 to upgrade to a "EXECUTIVE SUITE, 2 DOUBLE SIZE BEDS, DARLING HARBOUR VIEW." Upon check in on 14/06/2019 was advised the upgrade is actually costing $50 and not $30. Sorry you work for the same hotel and should be able to see the upgrade offer on your system. Happy to proceed regardless. Upon providing the room keys we were "Upgraded" to a room on Level 2. If we did no upgrade where would we be - on the ground level for a "Darling Harbour View"? Anyone that has travelled the world would know when you are offered an upgrade it is on the top levels of the hotel. Novatel might have an opposite view on this point. I would consider this deceptive and misleading advertising. I have many other hotel brands to choose from without needing to be an Accor plus member.

We have stayed with Novotel Darling Harbor on several occasions, every time the room is clean and comfortable. The only issue is the time taken to check in and out, even with online check in. There was simply not enough front desk staff employed over the busy times of day for such a large and popular hotel.

not enough staff ,waited for 45 minutes to check in ,room very basic , for dinner kitchen closed at 9.45 , stand in line for 30 minutes to be seated for breakfast .

For the price we paid expected a bit better pretty disappointed we were slugged $60 on top for parking which we should have been told when we were booking

We had an enjoyable three night stay at the Novotel Darling Harbour. All the staff were very friendly and helpful from checking in to checking out. We stayed in a room overlooking Darling Harbour, which was very clean and had all the amenities you needed. We had all our meals in the restaurant and found there was plenty of choice on the menu. All the restaurant staff were very obliging and friendly. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Tidy room with annoying allocation, appliances and limted staff "customer-focus"

Kept asleep night 1 after a meeting in the hotel by a very noisy fridge. REception staff said sorry but the offer of validated parking when I had no care and the lack of an alternative gesture meant I felt like I had missed out. The next day the basin plug would not stay down in the bathroom. Day 3 I asked where our meeting room was and was disappointed when told at the front desk " go sown there and you will find it" without being told where exactly it was as the meeting room I was looking for was hard to find amongst guest rooms. Not ideal but am still waiting for anyone to contact me about the ties I left hanging in the ardrobe, I know I could have but an obvious improvement would be a quick email asking if anything that was left was needed by a guest would not annoy me as much as these emails asking for feedback that achieve little or nothing for the customer.
