Staying at the Novotel was a great experience; the reception staff were always friendly & helpful as was the concierge. The hotel itself is nice, large & beautiful. Restaurant & bar downstairs & a perfect view of the Darling Harbour from the balcony view of the restaurant/lobby area! What I found to be the nicest & best thing they did for me was arrange a bottle of champagne and a cute little desert platter for me which was a lovely gesture for me for my 40th Birthday which I was celebrating, however they did write 'Happy 40th Anniversary' on the plate instead of 'Happy 40th Birthday' and being a single solo divorcee that irritated me a tad little bit hehe lol but it was a lovely gesture nonetheless which I appreciated. I stayed in a Darling Suite with just myself & my 2 kids. I booked it with the understanding that we would have an exquisite view of the Darling Harbour which wasn't as good as I expected, the view was very limited & it was of a big tall building infront of us & then a little bit of the Darling Harbour on the side. I also booked the Novotel thinking that the hotel itself was right ON the Darling Harbour & that we could simply walk out the front door & immediately be on the Darling Harbour & just walk further down / around. Due to roadwork & constructions going on, this was not the case & the actual walk from the hotel to Darling Harbour took a few more minutes (longer) than I had anticipated. Apart from the unexpected walking distance & the view from our room not being incredibly amazing as anticipated (& paid for extra for a Darling Harbour view room), the stay was nice enough, housekeeping was on point & the bed was super duper comfortable, I slept very well. Sofa bed was convenient & came in handy for my kids and we liked the fact that we could chromecast our devices / apps to the TV'S so we were able to access/watch our Netflix and YouTube on the TV'S in the suite. Thank you Novotel for a great & lovely stay ❤️

We have a large family with 5 kids and had to get interconnecting rooms. Nothing seemed a problem when we directly called the Novotel Darling Harbour and they were extremely accommodating to our needs. Rooms were very clean and had great facilities. We had breakfast in the restaurant and the food was yummy!! Highly recommend!

The hotel is getting a bit old, but the room was good. Need to clean under couch cushions, tissue and dirt under them. Good breakfast. Staff very friendly and attentive.
