It's always a pleasure to book in this hotel. The staff is very nice, always ready to help with anything you may need, the restaurant got enough choices and changes regularly. The beds are just wonderful to sleep on.. Definitely a good address to keep in mind.

I like the convenience of the hotel as it is well situated. The charging for the car is a big plus point as well. Rooms are comfy and bed comfortable. Breakfast is decent. What I don't like: the evening meal was very disappointing and overpriced. Nothing was freshly made but it was either taken straight from the fridge or heated up. I can't understand why you have such poor food when every French village has a bistrôt with a great plat du jour. The hotel needs to be renovated as it is feeling a bit vieillot. We love the Novotel in Lyon Confluence.

Hotel is well placed with excellent facilities. Staff were friendly, breakfast was excellent. Room was a good size. Room decor and style was starting to look tired, to keep up with the Novotel reputation it would be good to refresh the rooms in the next few years.

Room and accommodation was up to Novotel's normally excellent standard. The rooms are quiet and comfortable, and there is adequate desk and wardrobe space. I had an argument with the shower bracket in the bathroom. I was struggling to change the angle of the shower head, when the whole bracket detached itself from the wall. I was subsequently able to put it back on the wall, but it did not strike me as being very secure, which might be why it detached in the first place. I would like to see more English TV channels. In addition to BBC World News, I would like CNBC, CNN, France 24 (English), Aljazerra (English) and Euronews (English). I also object to Accors recent policy of disabling the tools/option button on the telecommander, which would allow access to alternative soundtracks. The bar menu, used to offer a very nice chicken ceasar salad. This has been replaced by a so called crunchy chicken salad, which I found to be revolting. This might be my personal preference because I like my salad vegetables to be fresh, crisp and crunchy. A lot of the vegetables in this salad were soggy, slimy and watery. The items I objected to were the quinoa (which looks like maggots), avocado, which I consider to be horrible and slimy, and some horrible yellow things that look like some kind of beans. The salad also contained carrots and broccoli, which would have been fine, if they were raw. However, they were pre-boiled and served cold. As a result they were tasteless, watery and soggy. In general, I dislike food that has been cooked and is then served cold. This also applies to the poached eggs that this hotel adds to some of their salads. If they are going to include a poached egg in the salad, I expect it to be hot when it arrives. The breakfast was very good. I particularly liked their fruit salad, which gave plenty of choice. The hotel is very conveniently located near the motorway, and it has a good car park which is free, so there are absolutely no difficulties with access and parking.

Nice clean and comfortable hotel The website showed the week before I stayed that the hotel was not available Suddenly two days before my visit your site showed plenty of availability and the hotel was not half full Despite booking on the Accor website and completing the online check in the hotel could not locate my booking and I had to show our confirmation

The door opened by a staff member without any notice. The door was actually locked from the inside and I was naked with my wife ! The staff member explains there was a leek. I did not notice any water at all ! We were then asked to move to the room next door without any kind of excuse nor compensation. For the rest, the hotel has no charm.

We arrived around 20-00, tired after a long journey. The room was "tired". The carpet was stained. The washbasin was broken. We went for a meal in your hotel, only to find that several dishes were not available. The meals available, which we ordered, were very poor quality. We complained and had one refunded. ( OK it's Sunday ) We frequently stay with Novotel, and, have ACCOR club membership. This experience was a disgrace! Please do something to regain our confidence!

The barman was very helpful in respect of the autoroute being closed due to a lorry hitting a bridge. He printed out directions for us to rejoin the autoroute south of junction 16, as we were travelling to Spain. He also advised us to leave at 6am in the morning to miss all the local traffic, this we did and it was perfect. The only problem is we missed our breakfast.

Greeting on reception excellent. Room presentation poor , room smelt of smoke and foul toilet . Bathroom sink basin not sealed to wall . Dirty carpet.
