the booking was made through HRG portal for RBS. when selected from alternative hotels, it definitely indicated that breakfast was included otherwise I would have selected somewhere else. on check in I was invited to pay for breakfast @ £14. The duty manager resolved this and got it added but I would not have been very pleased

Situated right in the middle of Birmingham's bar and nightclub area with poor sound insulation. Dated rooms and poor breakfast service/food compared to rivals. Pillows and bed were the only highlight.

Check in was easy. The room was fine but the plumbing had an issue. When you flush the toilet, it took ages to fill up the tank. However, we slept comfortably and the rooms were of good standard.

The room was quite dated & tired although I did see that other rooms on my floor were being refurbished so it may be scheduled. The hair dryer did not work and nobody answered the phone on reception meaning I had to go down to reception to ask for another one but there was a queue and I was nearly late for my meeting. So staying over to avoid the stress of travelling that morning for the meeting didn't work!

I booked on a flexible rate but when I arrived my card had already been charged. Luckily, it was the card I wanted to use but still shouldn’t have been charged. Check in was impersonal. I was told the lift was behind me but no other details about dinner/breakfast. The room was ok, bit surprised at the separate toilet/bathroom but was clean and comfortable. Room service was amazing & by far the hotels saving grace. Food was good & the waiter was the happiest person I encountered the entire time. Breakfast. I felt like I was inconveniencing them as they were setting up for lunch for 100+ people. (I was going to be one of them) I had to double check the finishing time as they were definitely more concerned about the rest of the day than the guest they had. Check out was quick and easy.

The staff on reception where very nice, the room was fine but the hotel was noisy all night. The separate toilet had no extractor and was very basic.

Checking in was very easy. However the key card didn't work so i had to go all the way back to the lobby for a replacement. I know that they were clean but the carpets design makes them look very dirty. Otherwise it was a very clean and tidy room with a very comfy bed. The only complaint i have is about the pricing of the car park. £15 for a 24hours stay is steep especially when it is a price for 6 hours then jump to a full 24 hours (who stays 6 hours in an hotel ???).

It was really easy to check in and staff were all friendly . The room was very clean and everything was fresh when we arrived. The view was nice and the bed was comfy. We only stayed one night but it was one of the best nights sleep I’ve had in any hotel. Would recommend to anyone staying the night or longer in Birmingham.
