Enjoyed our nights stay here. Close to the Arena. Hotel was clean and room very comfortable. Staff very helpful and gave us a room to suit us as we had a wheelchair to accommodate.Enjoyed a nice meal in our room which didn't take too long to arrive after ordering. Buffet breakfast, everything from full english to toast and fruit. Overall, a good stay.

The meeting facilities and food were good, the room was disappointing, especially the shower, which was tepid and had no water pressure

The hotel is easy to find, but parking is much more limited than one would expect and it is extraordinarily expensive as is everything else. The rooms are quite basic and although mostly clean are quite tired in decoration. My sofa had stains on it that had not been cleaned. The lavatory being separate from the bathroom was peculiar and was by far the least attractive aspect of the room as a whole. My bath plug would not remain closed making a bath impossible. The bed was large and surprisingly comfortable, however, my room was opposite a service room for the hotel and staff seemed unable to access the service room without slamming the door, even in the early hours of the morning. Reception staff were quite curt and although not unhelpful did not go out of their way to be welcoming. We waited over 20 mins in a queue to check in. The conference room next to the dining area is very very noisy whilst food is being served and not really suitable for conferences where there is a speaker. Breakfast was nice but at nearly £14 it was really expensive. Staff were busy and not terribly attentive. Lunch was lovely, but the tables were really crowded and packed in very tightly making eating uncomfortable, people couldn’t help jostling the back of diners’ chairs as they tried to reach a vacant seat and it was not easy to access the buffet area. There was no air conditioning which I would have liked as the windows were alarmed and wouldn’t open.

good stay but too cold in the room. even the tip of my nose wad cold during the night and had to put the pillows on top of the duvet to get myself warm.

I found the bathroom small, it was adequate for one person but small for a couple. Also the bar ran out of NZ Sauvignon Blanc.

Really handy for the Arena and the Symphony hall and close to the canal side amenities. Good value especially if you book online through the loyalty programme. Standard rooms are of a good size and comfortable.

Comfortable room, with choice of pillows. Breakfast was very good. Staff friendly and helpful, and check-in was quick. Was great to have a gym, although it could do with some more bikes and rowing machines.

Reception staff were helpful, barman on duty was miserable. Reception and bar area nice and modern, room we stayed in (619) needs updating as looks old and tired. Very un happy with paying £18 a night to park in car park. Car park small and spaces tight, car was hit by another car door while in car park over night.

The staff were fabulous and the facilities clean and comfortable but the noise from Broadstreet penetrated to the tear of the hotel. Even with windows closed I was kept awake by shouting, cars revving and drunks rolling home. The air con also needs and off switch as the room can get too hot and the air con blows too cold when turned down trying to cool the room down.
