Your pillows are too soft at that Mercure (Braunschweig). Over all very nice to stay there regularly. Also the receptionist is quite pretty.

« Very enjoyable stay with very friendly and professional staff »

This is the third time I have stayed at this hotel. the locations is excellent for the station and town centre but most of all the rooms are spotlessly clean and are very comfortable and warm in the winter months. The staff at all levels were very friendly, helpful and professonal. The breakfast room and restaurant have a great choice of food which is all freshly cooked.

« It was a very pleasant stay. »

I have stayed with this hotel a number of times before (all on business occasions). This year, I have discovered that the hotel has added a brand new lounge area. It was a great idea...I was able to relax in that lounge area after my business meeting; and at other times, I brought my lab top to the lounge area to do some work. Thus, this new lounge represents a much needed improvement to the hotel (which was getting a bit dated). Congratulation for making the improvement to the hotel and it has made my stay more pleasant than previous years.

WE felt very welcome in the hotel. It was quiet. The breakfast was excellent. WE had dinner one evening; soup great salad drowned in dressing. Overall experience very positive, it would encourage me to go back to a Mercure hotel

Very friendly staff at reception. First key-card didn't work. Room o.k. Shower very small. NO body lotion in bathroom. Breakfast: food o.k. but many little complaints: e.g. orange juice empty, tap for hot water in wrong angle, waiter askedm whether he should bring coffe and send me to tea-bar, when I saked for tea instead of offering to get me some,..

As a repeat guest, at this hotel, i found the welcome very nice indeed. They even remembered who i was after about 2 year absence. Room was clean, comfortable and warm. And the breakfast was fantastic, even with the new pricing. Cannot go wrong with that. Makes no sense not to have the breakfast if you have time.

I placed regular bookings until March and I'm there for business. Since I usually dont need breakfast nor lunchbag, I'd like to have no-breakfast option for my room. This is only important for taxing purposes: I do not mind to pay the same price for the room without breakfast that I'm paying with breakfast, but the VAT item should only be room, not room VAT + breakfast VAT. The opportunity we have is, that we separate the bills. Than you pay room and breakfast, but you can get one invoice for the room and one for the breakfast. We booked a superior room and it was huge. The room was clean, the breakfast was good, the staff was friendly and there were a lot of small extras, such as shampoo, lotion, shower gel, a dental kit, a water bottle and an espresso machine in the room. The location is good, right across the street from the train station and just a 10 minute walk to the city center. Overall we were very satisfied and the hotel is definitely good value for money.

We stay at this hotel since a few years, We always got the best service there is and we never had any reason whatsoever to complain.The lobby has recently refurbished. Unfortunately they did not bring the bar back downstairs where it was for years and where it should be.The management should think about it again!!!

Despite the late arrival the staff at the reception was very friendly and efficient so I could go to my room in no time. Yet, I got all the infos I needed, especially when the breakfast buffet would open. Which was very good. From scrambled eggs to multiple choices for cereals, cold cuts and bread I found everything I expect for Sundays breakfast.

A good hotel near Railway station. Buses & trams are also available nearby. Since I am vegetarian, there is less options in breakfast. Otherwise, the service is good and staff is cordial. Few minor improvements can be done: 1) Lift need to be revamped. 2) I like the way they were taking care of nature. In this regard, I felt that the bath tub can be removed as it wastes lot of water. 3) If a few English channels can be telecasted like BBC, CNN, etc. Overall, the service and facilities were very good.

« Well located right at the train station, easy access to city center and comfortable »

The room as for a single person, so a single bed. Overall, the room is very comfortable, with a high speed free wifi. The pillows could yet be a bit more comfortable (pillow linen). The restaurant is not too big but has good choices, in particular Wine selections. Breakfast has a good choice of products, no waiting time. Affordable price.

Perfect Hotel for a Trip to Braunschweig, nice and clean. City is very close and also the railway station close. Christmas markt in BS is one of the nicest in the North of Germany. Is for young and old an nice CITY for a city trip.
