Descided after my last visit to choose the neighbour hotel due to limited breakfast and condition of hotel rooms. I got an room upgrade with view over Paris (Eiffeltower, even if no so close).Helpfull staff, clean rooms and it has a bar on the ground floor. Breakfast is served in two locations (on ground floor), be aware that it is limited in one place, so if you have brekfast included check to choos the correct location.

« very good location for my purpose »

when checked in there was no electricity in the room due to maintenance work. bad timing and inconvenient. the room 1426 had no A/C. I complained several times about the lack of cold air coming out of the unit but the A/C was never fixed by the maintenance staff of the hotel

« Confortable bedroom in perfect location if you have to work in La Defense »

Good welcome Bedroom was smelling cigarette but finally I forgot it quite quickly. Comfortable bed and room temperature. Renewed bathroom. Great breakfast buffet where I really appreciated the scones!

« I did not get the room I paid up front »

Very disappointed by the behaviour of staff: I was driving all day long from Italy to Paris and I knew I would be very late. I called the hotel to tell them that we are late and could not checkin online and so we asked to make sure the room is available. I paid for a Executive room (paid full amount before coming with no reimbursement option), so I was sure I will have what I asked for. However, when we arrived around 11:30 in the evening, we found out that the room was already sold to some other guests. The staff's explanation was that there was a lot of people that day. No arguments helped. We ended up in a single room which was definitely designed for one person: single bed where we could not really fit, simple pair of towels etc... As a compensation they offered parking free of charge and some point on my Accorhotels membership... Did not really feel as a compensation...

The rooms are small for a family, the windows are permanently closed and one has to use AC; even people with allergies, the carpets in rooms are old & need to be changed!

« Room was dirty and food terrible »

Disappointing. The room was quite dirty - food wrappers left under the bed when I arrived! I had one meal in the restaurant which was probably the worst Pad Thai I have ever had. And when I asked to take part in one of the exercise classes that was being heavily advertised I was told they were not being run. I will not be staying at the Novotel again.

« Not as good as Suresnes »

I normally stay in Suresnes Novotel where the staff are friendly and relatively efficient. However in the Novotel at La Défense there is a big difference. Often there are queues and the staff are a lot less helpful

« Way overpriced for a worn out Hotel »

It was not very good, I found the hotel worn out. The atmosphere was messy and noisy and everything seemed to be small and busy. Room furniture was old and a bit damaged, needs a refurb for sure. The breakfast restaurant is too small and therefor there are notes instructing you what time to come best ???
