My floor was too noisy due to Chinese group visit and even till midnight I was calling the reception for help. Breakfast was terrible.

The rooms were small - this was not unexpected. The disappointment came with the service levels. The staff was far from being courteous. It was like they were doing us a favour by answering questions. Along with the non customer friendly attitude - the competence level was also low. Although the hotel had taken a deposit from me (on my fully paid out room) for other expenses that I incur, I was told that I could not charge my bar tab to my room. This was sorted out after speaking with the reception. The communication from the team was not good at all - they were rather rude. This was unacceptable.

The location was great, breakfast was good but rest were not up to the mark. At 30+ degree Celsius, a room with no fan and AC not working (and will not work during your stay of 2 nights as confirmed by reception staff), is not something that you look for or advise others to choose. Cramped room without even a dustbin. Room was also not ready as confirmed earlier but that was not a major concern as we did not have to wait for too long. Overall, did not even meet the standards of IBIS BUDGET also.

I have stayed at various accor hotels past few years in different countries and cities. This Ibis Paris bagnolet is not upto the standards of accor. It's the worst hotel I have ever stayed in any city. Firstly the reception staff doesnot give any attention to you, they always busy with there own stuff and they hardly understand english. Rooms were full of dust on bedding. Accor promises to give new kind of improved bedding but this Ibis Paris bagnolet had old dusty bedding. The air-conditioning was not working it took more that 15 minutes for them to fix it for which they promise all problems will be fixed in 15 minutes. That's a lie. Upon checkout, when I handed over keys to receptionist his reply was "you can go" like I was burden on them. This stay with accor was very disappointing for me. I would like to compensated for it. Thanks.

Horrible hotel. Everything is old, damaged or broken. At the reception you almost trip over the torn carpet. It stinks in the hallways. My room had a broken floor. The bathroom, which was falling apart. Mold on the windows. The air conditioning did not work. Ibis should close this hotel down immediately. Afterwards i found reviews on the internet describing the same problems from 2016. Obviously nothing was done. Ibis has no shame. Worst hotel I've ever seen and i have seen many!

« Friendly staff, excellent breakfast, room could be better »

I find the reception staff and breakfast room staff (all of them) very friendly, helpful and professional. The language barrier was not a problem as most of them spoke good English and I got to practise my French. However I find the room was a bit a let down, very small for the price we paid. The shower and bath room as clean, but the corridors felt a bit dated and old, and needs refurbishing. I had fond memories staying at the hotel next door (previously Etap), and I felt their rooms were better! At the price or slightly more (I would have been willing to pay more), I could have gotten a room with coffee making facilities in the room. The cooling did not work in the room (it was too stuffy), and the heating (which worked), was not needed. As a consequence of the heat in the room, we had to open the window, which made the room noisy. Breakfast was good!

We arrived at 4.30 pm and despite the checkin time being well in advance of this we were kept waiting 45 minutes for our room. The third bed was a roll out bed with a wooden plinth above my son's head which he kept catching his head on (advertised on website as a third bed not a roll out bed). Upon complaining to reception that he had hurt himself and asking to pay for 2 rooms was told nothing they could do despite the 15 minutes for the hotel team to resolve any issues notice in the room, clearly this is not true as staff completely unhelpful and unconcerned. The room was not fit for purpose (room 806), mould in the bathroom, skirting board by bathroom a trip hazard as hanging off, no signal on the tv, no desk as advertised (this was the dangerous roll out bed waiting for a serious head injury), curtains stained, heating not controllable far too hot due to this the windows had condensation in the morning causing water to drop on to plug sockets below the window where phones were charging (another health and safety issue) and dirty bedding had been left in the room. My husband and i stay in accor hotela regularly for business in the UK but after this experience we will not use this chain again.

This hotel is extremely convenient for the main coach station at Paris - which is how I discovered it! There is a metro station just around the corner, from which you can travel to central Paris. Thus you can enjoy the city, without all the hassle of a city centre. I have always found the staff helpful and efficient. Fortunately most of them speak English better than I speak French! A good buffet breakfast is available. Definitely filling. And the coffee is good! I have no doubt that I shall return the next time I visit the French capital.

« Clean but smokey »

Besides the muck up with booking in - you had the incorrect CC recorded on your system, the rooms were clean and tidy. My main gripe is that my room had a really bad smoke smell, and it was quite uncomfortable when I woke up in the early hours and the smell, presumably coming through the air condition ducts, was even more intense, and I had to take cover under the duvet. The TV also switched itself on twice during the night, waking me up both times.

rooms were cramped and bathroom was substandard. the location was very close and practical but the surrounding of the hotel especially the foot bridge to shopping wall mall was very filthy and full of urine. not good for the image of the hotel
